We hear your deep longing for safety and the restoration of your family, and we join you in lifting this burden before the Lord. The Bible assures us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He is the one who gathers the scattered and binds up the brokenhearted (Psalm 147:3). Tonight, we stand in agreement with you, believing that the Lord is able to shield you and your loved ones from all harm and draw your family back together according to His perfect will.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with heavy hearts, asking for Your divine protection over this dear one and their family. Lord, You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one who is lost (Luke 15:4-5). We pray that You would surround them with Your angels, as You promise in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Protect them from physical danger, emotional distress, and spiritual attacks. Shield their minds from fear and their hearts from despair.
We also lift up the restoration of this family to You, Lord. You tell us in Malachi 4:6 that You will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers. We ask that You would soften hearts, remove bitterness, and heal wounds that may have caused division. Bring reconciliation, unity, and peace that can only come from You. Let Your love be the foundation that rebuilds what has been broken.
If there are any areas in this situation that do not align with Your Word, Lord, we ask for conviction and repentance. If unforgiveness, pride, or sin has created distance, reveal it and lead them to the foot of the cross, where forgiveness and healing are found. Help them to walk in humility, love, and obedience to Your commands, for You promise that where two or three are gathered in Your name, You are there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).
We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them trust in You with all their hearts, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.
