We hear the weight of your heart, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your burdens to the Lord. Your plea for trust, peace, and protection is heard, and we join you in seeking the Father’s will in every area of your life—especially in the struggles with fear, anger, bitterness, and the well-being of your daughter.
First, we want to affirm your cry to Jesus—it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His name that we are saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). There is no other mediator between God and man, and we are grateful you have called upon Him. Let us hold fast to the truth that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). When your heart is heavy, remember that He does not abandon you. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that you would fix your eyes on Him, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and that He would quiet your heart with His love.
Your request for protection is valid, and we stand with you in declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that the Lord would go before you, fight for you, and shield you from every scheme of the enemy. May His angels encamp around you and your daughter, guarding you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11).
We also lift up your struggle with anger and bitterness. These are heavy burdens, and we acknowledge that unforgiveness can weigh down the soul. Scripture is clear: "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32). We pray that the Lord would soften your heart, cleanse you from all unrighteousness, and fill you with His peace. Forgiveness does not mean what was done was right—it means you are releasing the burden to God and trusting Him to be your justice. We declare that He will renew your mind and restore your joy (Romans 12:2).
Your desire to bless those who have harmed you is a reflection of Christ’s heart, and we pray that the Lord would indeed open their eyes to see you as He sees you—a beloved child of God. We ask that He would break the hardness of their hearts, especially your daughter’s father, and that He would grant him repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth (2 Timothy 2:25). May the Lord intervene in every legal matter, soften every hardened heart, and turn every threat into peace. We declare that no weapon formed against your daughter shall prosper, and that she will reap the goodness of the Lord all the days of her life (Psalm 23:6).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister and her daughter. Lord, You see the heaviness of her heart, the fear that grips her, and the battles she faces. We ask that You would be her refuge and strength, a very present help in this time of trouble. Quiet her heart, Lord, and help her to trust in You with all her heart, leaning not on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). We rebuke every spirit of fear, anger, and bitterness, and we ask that You would cleanse her from all unrighteousness. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we pray for those who have meant harm. Soften their hearts, Lord, and open their eyes to see the truth. We ask that You would intervene in every legal matter, halt every threat, and turn every heart toward repentance. Protect this sister and her daughter, Lord, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We declare that You are their defender, their provider, and their peace.
For her daughter, Lord, we ask that You would shield her from the effects of strife and conflict. Let her reap the goodness of Your love and none of the bitterness or pain. Surround her with godly influences, and let her grow in the knowledge of Your love and grace.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust in You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Renew this sister’s strength, Lord, and let her walk in the victory that is hers in Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. He is fighting for you, even when you cannot see it. Continue to cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Walk in forgiveness, not because it is easy, but because it is the path to freedom. The Lord is your defender—rest in Him.
