We join with you in lifting up your family to the Lord, standing in agreement with your prayers for protection, healing, and divine intervention over your children and home. Your heart for your family is evident, and we commend you for covering them in prayer, recognizing that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). It is powerful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which we have access to the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). You have done well to plead the blood of Jesus, for it is by His sacrifice that we are redeemed, protected, and made victorious.
We are particularly burdened by the spiritual attacks and ungodly influences you mentioned concerning the young man and his family in relation to your older daughter. The Word of God warns us, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this young man and his family do not share a committed faith in Christ, their influence could lead your daughter away from the truth and into compromise. We strongly urge you to pray for her discernment and strength to step away from any relationship that does not honor God’s design for marriage and family. A courtship should only be pursued with a believer who is seeking to glorify God, with the intent of marriage as the foundation (1 Corinthians 7:39, 2 Corinthians 6:14-15). If there is any emotional or physical intimacy outside of marriage, it must be repented of, for it is fornication and displeasing to the Lord (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). Your daughter must be encouraged to guard her heart and her body as a temple of the Holy Spirit.
We also take note of your prayers for your son’s healing from PTSD, anxiety, autism, and spiritual torment. Our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we trust in His power to bring restoration. "Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). May your son experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for divine intervention in his life, that the Lord would quiet his spirit and renew his mind (Romans 12:2).
For your younger daughter, we agree with you in asking the Lord to bless her studies, career, and health. May she walk in the wisdom that comes from above, which is pure, peaceful, and full of mercy (James 3:17). We pray that the Lord would surround her with godly friendships that encourage her faith and protect her from the snares of the enemy.
Now, let us pray together over your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness and protection over this family. Lord Jesus, we thank You for the power of Your blood, which covers and shields them from every attack of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask for Your hedge of protection to surround this home, that You would post Your angels around them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).
Lord, we lift up this mother’s older daughter to You. Break every ungodly soul tie and influence that the enemy has tried to establish through this young man and his family. Open her eyes to see any deception, and give her the courage to walk away from relationships that do not align with Your will. Restore her spiritual clarity and independence, Lord, and fill her with a hunger for Your truth. Protect her job and grant her favor in her workplace, that she may shine as a light for You (Matthew 5:16). If there has been any sinful compromise, convict her heart and lead her to repentance, that she may walk in purity and holiness before You.
Father, we pray for this mother’s son, that You would touch his mind and spirit with Your healing power. Deliver him from every torment, anxiety, and fear, and fill him with Your peace. Let him know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that Your plans for him are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Restore his joy and confidence, Lord, and let him walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for him.
We pray for the younger daughter, that You would bless her studies and career, and surround her with godly influences. Give her wisdom and focus, and let her excel in all she does for Your glory. Protect her from confusion and negativity, and let her heart be steadfast in You.
Lord, we ask for unity and harmony in this home. Let Your love bind this family together, and let Your peace rule in their hearts (Colossians 3:14-15). Frustrate every plan of the enemy to bring division, chaos, or isolation. Let this family be a testimony of Your grace and power, and may their lives reflect Your light to the world.
Father, we thank You for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. We declare that this day is blessed and protected, and that Your favor rests upon this family. In the mighty name of Jesus, we rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and manipulation, and we command them to flee. Let Your angels encamp around them, and let Your presence go before them to prepare the way.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
