We join with you in lifting up your family to the Lord, covering them in prayer and standing in agreement with you for protection, healing, and divine favor over each of your children and your home. Your prayer is filled with faith, and we commend you for pleading the blood of Jesus and declaring God’s promises over your family. It is powerful to see you taking authority in Christ’s name over every scheme of the enemy, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle.
Your prayer for your son’s healing from PTSD, anxiety, autism, and spiritual torment touches our hearts. We know the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:17-18**, *“The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.”* We declare healing over his mind, body, and spirit, trusting that the Lord is his strength and shield. May he experience the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, as **Philippians 4:6-7** assures us: *“In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.”* Father, we ask that You restore his mind to clarity, his emotions to stability, and his spirit to confidence in You. Let him walk in the freedom and joy that comes from knowing You as his Savior.
For your younger daughter, we pray for divine favor over her health, studies, and career. May the Lord grant her wisdom and understanding as she pursues her goals, and may she find delight in the Lord, who will give her the desires of her heart as she commits her ways to Him (**Psalm 37:4-5**). We ask that God surround her with friendships that uplift and encourage her in her faith, and that He protect her from any influence that would lead her away from His truth. May she grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, and may her life be a testament to His goodness.
Your prayer for your older daughter is especially weighty, and we want to address it with both compassion and biblical clarity. You mentioned the influence of a “young man and his family” and asked for protection from their negative and manipulative influence. We sense there may be deeper concerns here, and we urge you to examine whether this relationship aligns with God’s design for marriage and family. The Scriptures are clear that believers are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (**2 Corinthians 6:14**), as this can lead to spiritual compromise, confusion, and harm. If this young man is not a born-again believer who walks in obedience to Christ, this relationship could be dangerous for your daughter’s faith and well-being. Even if he claims to be a Christian, his actions and the influence of his family must be measured against the fruit of the Spirit (**Galatians 5:22-23**). Manipulation, control, or any behavior that does not reflect the love, patience, and kindness of Christ is not of God.
We strongly encourage you to have an open and loving conversation with your daughter about the importance of seeking a godly spouse—one who loves the Lord with all his heart and will lead her (and any future family) in righteousness. **Proverbs 31:30** reminds us, *“Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised.”* Likewise, a man who fears the Lord and walks in His ways is the only kind of man she should consider for marriage. If this young man does not meet this standard, we pray that the Lord would give your daughter the strength and wisdom to walk away from this relationship, no matter how difficult it may feel. The enemy often uses emotional attachments to blind us to the truth, but the Lord desires to protect her from heartache and spiritual harm.
We also sense that there may be ungodly soul ties or spiritual influences at work here. If your daughter has been physically intimate with this young man outside of marriage, this is fornication, and it creates a spiritual bond that must be broken. **1 Corinthians 6:18** warns, *“Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.”* If this has occurred, we urge your daughter to repent, seek forgiveness, and renounce any ungodly ties in the name of Jesus. The blood of Christ is powerful to cleanse and break every chain, and we declare freedom over her life right now. Father, we ask that You expose any hidden sins or compromises and bring conviction where it is needed. Let Your Holy Spirit guide your daughter into all truth and give her the courage to obey You, even if it means letting go of this relationship.
We also pray for protection over your daughter’s job and for the Lord to fill her with gratitude and joy in her workplace. May she experience His favor and be a light to those around her. Give her wisdom to navigate any challenges and discernment to recognize any schemes of the enemy that would seek to steal her peace or focus.
For your home, we declare that the Lord is your refuge and fortress, your ever-present help in trouble (**Psalm 46:1**). We ask that He fill your home with harmony, unity, and His perfect peace. Let every word spoken within your walls be seasoned with grace, and let love bind your family together in Christ. We rebuke any spirit of confusion, division, or fear, and we declare that the angels of the Lord encamp around your family, guarding you in all your ways (**Psalm 91:11**).
Finally, we want to encourage you in your own walk with the Lord. You are clearly a mother who loves her children deeply and seeks the Lord on their behalf. This is a beautiful reflection of God’s heart for His children. However, we also want to remind you to guard your own heart and spirit. **1 Peter 5:7** tells us to *“cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you.”* You cannot pour into your children from an empty cup, so we pray that the Lord refreshes and strengthens you daily. May He fill you with His peace and joy, and may you find rest in His presence, knowing that He is fighting for your family even when you cannot see it.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family and covering them with the blood of Your Son. Lord, You are their protector, their healer, and their provider, and we trust You to move powerfully in their lives. We thank You for waking them to a new day and for the opportunity to declare Your victory over every area of their lives.
For this mother, we ask that You strengthen her and fill her with Your peace. Give her wisdom as she leads her family, and let her heart be steadfast, trusting in You. Remind her that You are her ever-present help, and that she does not need to carry these burdens alone.
For her son, we pray for complete healing—mind, body, and spirit. Lord, You know the depths of his struggles, and we ask that You touch him with Your healing hand. Deliver him from every torment, every fear, and every lie of the enemy. Restore his mind to clarity and his heart to joy. Let him walk in the freedom and confidence that comes from knowing You as his Savior and his strength.
For her younger daughter, we ask for Your divine favor over her health, her studies, and her future. Surround her with godly influences and protect her from anything that would distract her from Your will. Give her a hunger for Your Word and a passion to seek You first in all things.
For her older daughter, we pray for protection and deliverance from any ungodly influence. Lord, if this relationship with the young man is not of You, we ask that You break every tie and give her the courage to walk away. Expose any deception, Lord, and let Your truth shine brightly in her heart. If there has been sin in this relationship, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Break every ungodly soul tie in the name of Jesus, and restore her to a place of purity and wholeness in You. Guide her steps, Lord, and lead her to a godly spouse who will love her as Christ loves the church.
We declare a hedge of protection around this family and their home. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them be condemned (**Isaiah 54:17**). We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, manipulation, and division, and we declare that the peace of God rules in their hearts and home. Let Your angels encamp around them, Lord, and let Your favor go before them in everything they do.
Father, we thank You that You are working all things together for their good (**Romans 8:28**). We thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. Fill their home with Your joy, Your love, and Your light. Let this day be a day of breakthrough, healing, and restoration for them.
We pray all these things in the powerful and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
