We come before the Lord with you in this time of spiritual attack, lifting our voices together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have authority over the enemy. The Bible assures us in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* You are not alone in this battle, for the Lord fights for you, and we stand with you in prayer, declaring His victory over every scheme of the enemy.
The troubles you face are not unseen by our Heavenly Father. He knows the attacks you endure, and He has promised in Psalm 34:17-19, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Your pain is not in vain, and God will use this trial to strengthen your faith and draw you closer to Him.
We must also remind you that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Put on the whole armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—as your defense. Stand firm in prayer, for prayer is your weapon. The Lord has already given you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Speak the name of Jesus boldly over your situation, for *"in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12).
If you have not already, we urge you to examine your heart and life to ensure there is no unconfessed sin or open door for the enemy to gain a foothold (Psalm 66:18). Repent of anything that does not align with God’s Word, and surrender every area of your life to Him. The enemy flees at the presence of holiness and the blood of Jesus.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our brother/sister who is under attack by the enemy. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, covering them with Your blood and shielding them from every dart of the wicked one. Break every chain, every stronghold, and every plan of the devil against their life. Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Lord, we rebuke the enemy in Jesus’ name and command him to flee. Let Your light expose every darkness, and let Your truth prevail in their life. Strengthen them, Lord, and remind them that the battle belongs to You. Give them wisdom to recognize the enemy’s tactics and discernment to walk in Your will.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs through Christ Jesus. May they walk in the confidence of Your love and power, knowing that You have overcome the world (John 16:33).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are praying with you and believe that God will bring you through this trial victorious. Let us know how we can continue to support you in prayer. If there are specific areas of attack, share them so we can pray more precisely. You are loved, and you are not alone.
