We come before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this request for divine protection and breakthrough, knowing that He alone is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 91:1-2, *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’"* And again in Psalm 34:7, *"Yahweh’s angel encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them."* We stand on these promises, declaring that no weapon formed against those covered by this prayer shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Yet we must also address something vital: this request does not invoke the name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to the Father and by whom we are saved. The Scriptures are clear in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* And in John 14:6, Jesus declares, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If there is any uncertainty about this truth, we urge you to consider it deeply—for it is only through faith in Christ that we are reconciled to God and can boldly approach His throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Without Him, our prayers are but empty words. But in Him, we have authority, protection, and the assurance that He hears us.
We also pray for breakthrough, knowing that the battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers (Ephesians 6:12). The Lord goes before you, as He did for the Israelites, parting seas and tearing down walls (Joshua 6:20). Claim the promise of Isaiah 43:2: *"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you."* Let this be your declaration today—no matter the storm, no matter the opposition, the Lord is your shield and your exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1).
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy seeking to bring harm, delay, or discouragement. By the blood of Jesus, we break every chain, every stronghold, and every plan of darkness assigned against you or those you are praying for. The Lord is your breakthrough, and He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Stand firm in faith, for the victory is already won through Christ Jesus.
Now, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. We ask for Your divine protection to surround those covered by this prayer like an impenetrable shield. Hide them under the shadow of Your wings, and let no harm come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:9-10). Send Your angels to encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways. Lord, we ask for a supernatural breakthrough—where there has been delay, let there be acceleration; where there has been lack, let there be abundance; where there has been bondage, let there be freedom. Tear down every wall, open every door, and make a way where there seems to be no way.
We declare that every plan of the enemy is exposed and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them shall be silenced. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let their hearts be steadfast, trusting in You alone.
For those who may not yet know You, Lord, we pray that their eyes would be opened to the truth of the Gospel. Draw them to Yourself, that they may confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead, and be saved (Romans 10:9). Let this prayer be a turning point—a moment where lives are surrendered to You, where protection is secured in Christ, and where breakthroughs testify to Your glory.
Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Deliverer. Let them walk in the confidence that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
