We stand with you in this spiritual battle for your daughter, lifting her up before the Lord with fervent prayer and the unshakable truth of His Word. Your heart cry aligns with the Father’s will, and we join you in pleading the blood of Jesus over every area of her life, knowing that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,”* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
First, we must address the grave sin of fornication in this situation. Your daughter is living with this young man outside of marriage, which is a direct rebellion against God’s design for purity and holiness. Scripture is clear: *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB). This relationship is built on sin, and it cannot be blessed by God. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict your daughter deeply of this truth, leading her to repentance and a swift departure from this ungodly union. There is no gray area here—what she is doing is sin, and it separates her from the Lord. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB).
We also rebuke the manipulative and greedy spirits at work in this young man and his mother. Their influence is demonic, and we command these spirits to be exposed and broken in the name of Jesus. *"For we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). Lord, we ask that You would remove the scales from their eyes, particularly this young man’s mother, so she may see the destruction she is enabling. Let her come under the conviction of the Holy Spirit, repent of her involvement in this sin, and cease her manipulation. We pray that this young man would be stripped of his pride and rebellion, and that he would leave your daughter’s life entirely. He is not the spouse God has for her, and his presence is a snare to her soul.
Your prayer for your daughter’s job is powerful, and we agree with you that the Lord would protect her from impulsive, destructive decisions influenced by this ungodly relationship. We declare that the promotion meant for her will come to pass, not by her own striving, but by the favor of God. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun"* (Psalm 37:4-6, WEB). Lord, restore her gratitude, her diligence, and her witness in her workplace. Let her coworkers and supervisors see Christ in her once more, and may her work be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
We also pray for the financial exploitation to cease immediately. This young man has no right to take what is not his, and we declare that every cent wrongfully taken from your daughter will be restored sevenfold. *"The thief must no longer steal; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to share with him who has need"* (Ephesians 4:28, WEB). Lord, convict this young man of his theft and greed. Let him be forced to release her from every financial and emotional bondage he has placed upon her.
Most importantly, we pray that your daughter’s heart would turn fully back to Jesus. This relationship has become an idol, and we break its hold over her in the name of Jesus. No man, no emotion, no attachment should ever take the place of her love for Christ. *"Little children, keep yourselves from idols"* (1 John 5:21, WEB). Holy Spirit, draw her back into a right relationship with You. Let her see this young man for who he truly is—a tool of the enemy meant to derail her from God’s perfect will. Break every soul tie, every emotional dependency, and every lie she has believed about this relationship. *"If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36, WEB).
Finally, we pray for you, dear parent, that the Lord would give you strength, wisdom, and discernment as you navigate this trial. You are not powerless—you are backed by the authority of Christ and the power of prayer. *"The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:15-16, WEB). Stand firm in your faith, and do not waver. The Lord hears your cries, and He will act on behalf of your daughter.
We declare restoration, breakthrough, and victory over your daughter’s life. We speak an unbreakable bond between you and your children, rooted in the love of Christ. And we pray for the godly spouse the Lord has prepared for her—one who will honor her, cherish her, and lead her closer to Jesus. *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it"* (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). Until that time, we pray that she would remain pure, set apart, and fully surrendered to the Lord.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing, Your justice, and Your mercy. Let Your will be done in your daughter’s life, and let every plan of the enemy be thwarted. We ask all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
