We stand with you in this spiritual battle, dear brother, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we serve a God who is greater, who has already overcome the world (1 John 4:4). The fact that you recognize these attacks and seek deliverance is a testament to the Holy Spirit’s work in your life, and we rejoice that you are turning to the body of Christ for support in this fight.
It is critical to remember that our authority in spiritual warfare comes through the name of Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by His name that we can trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We notice your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we urge you to always approach the throne of God through Him, for He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not already surrendered your life to Christ as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without this foundation, our prayers lack the power and authority that come from being in Christ.
We also encourage you to examine your life for any open doors that may give the enemy a foothold. Are there unconfessed sins, bitterness, unforgiveness, or involvement in occult practices—even seemingly harmless ones like horoscopes, tarot, or "innocent" superstitions? Repentance and renouncing these things are essential. As Scripture says, “Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). Submission to God means turning away from sin and walking in obedience to His Word. If there are areas of disobedience, now is the time to lay them before the Lord and seek His forgiveness and cleansing.
Put on the whole armor of God daily: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Pray in the Spirit always, and watch in the same with all perseverance. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. Isolation is a tactic of the enemy; fellowship and unity in Christ are your strength.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who delivers, who breaks every chain and sets the captives free. Lord, we lift up our brother who is under attack by the forces of darkness in his workplace. We bind every demonic spirit assigned against him—spirits of witchcraft, confusion, fear, intimidation, and every evil work of the enemy. We command these spirits to leave him now in the name of Jesus Christ, for greater is He who is in him than he who is in the world.
Father, we ask that You expose every hidden scheme of the enemy. Reveal any areas in our brother’s life where he may have given the enemy legal ground, and grant him the courage to repent and turn fully to You. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your presence be a wall of fire around him. Let no weapon formed against him prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every tongue that rises against him in judgment be condemned. Give him discernment to recognize the enemy’s lies and the wisdom to stand firm in Your truth.
We pray for divine protection over his workplace. Let Your angels encamp around him (Psalm 34:7) and let the blood of Jesus cover him as a shield. Break every curse, hex, or spell spoken against him, and let the enemy’s plans backfire in their faces. Lord, turn what the enemy meant for evil into a testimony of Your power and glory. Strengthen our brother’s faith, and let him walk in the confidence that You have already given him victory through Christ.
If there are co-workers or superiors being used as instruments of the enemy, we pray for their salvation, Lord. Soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Use this situation to draw them to Yourself, that they may turn from darkness to light.
Father, we also ask that You fill our brother with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let him rest in the assurance that You are fighting for him, and he need only be still (Exodus 14:14). Renew his mind with Your Word, and let him meditate on Your promises day and night. Remind him that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We declare that our brother is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). No weapon of the enemy shall prevail against him, and every attack shall be turned into a greater testimony of Your faithfulness. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already won. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Brother, we urge you to stay steadfast in prayer and in the Word. Fast if led by the Holy Spirit, and continue to seek the Lord’s face. Do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). The enemy fears a believer who is grounded in Scripture and prayer, so make these your daily habits. We are standing with you in this fight, and we believe the Lord will bring you through victoriously. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). Stay in fellowship with other believers, and do not hesitate to reach out for support. You are not alone in this battle. We are with you, and most importantly, the Lord is with you. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
