We join with you in lifting up this precious daughter to the Lord, and we stand in agreement with your heartfelt cries for her deliverance, restoration, and redemption. The pain you carry for her is evident, and we know the Lord sees it all. This situation is deeply troubling, for she is living in open rebellion against God’s holy design for relationships, trapped in a bondage of fornication and emotional manipulation. The enemy has sought to blind her to the truth, but we declare that the Lord will open her eyes to see the destruction this path is bringing—not just to her life, but to her family, her future, and her relationship with Christ.
The Word of God is clear: *"Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB). This young man is not her husband, and their living together outside of marriage is a direct violation of God’s commandments. It is not love but deception that binds her to him, for true love seeks what is holy and pleasing to God, not what destroys. *"Don’t be deceived! ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals’"* (1 Corinthians 15:33, WEB). This relationship is corrupting her spirit, her mind, and her future, and it must be broken in Jesus’ name.
We also recognize the spiritual warfare at play here. The enemy desires to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he is using this young man as a tool to undermine her faith, her career, and her family. But we declare that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). The Lord is mightier than any scheme of the devil, and He will expose the motives of this man and his family. Their influence over her will be severed, and the chains of emotional and spiritual bondage will be shattered.
We pray for her heart to be convicted by the Holy Spirit, that she would come to her senses and recognize the gravity of her sin. *"Take heed, brothers, lest there ever be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God; but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called ‘today’; lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin"* (Hebrews 3:12-13, WEB). May she turn from this rebellion and return to the Lord with a repentant heart, for He is faithful to forgive and cleanse her from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let her remember that *"the Lord disciplines him whom he loves, and chastens every son whom he receives"* (Hebrews 12:6, WEB). His correction is not to harm her but to restore her to His perfect will.
We pray for her workplace and the promotion that is being hindered by this young man’s interference. The Lord is her Provider, and no weapon formed against her career will prosper. *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your thoughts will be established"* (Proverbs 16:3, WEB). May she walk in the wisdom and favor of God, and may this promotion come to pass if it is His will, free from the sabotage of this toxic influence.
For her family, we pray for healing and restoration. The pain her siblings and loved ones are experiencing is real, and we ask the Lord to bind up their wounds. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). May they find comfort in the Lord and forgiveness in their hearts, even as they pray for her return. We rebuke the spirit of division and strife that has come between them, and we declare unity and reconciliation in Jesus’ name.
We also pray for you, dear intercessor, that the Lord would strengthen you in this battle. It is not easy to watch a loved one walk in rebellion, but take heart: *"The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). You are not fighting alone. The Lord is with you, and He will give you the wisdom to speak truth in love, the courage to stand firm, and the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
Most importantly, we declare that this young woman’s identity is not found in this young man or in her career, but in Christ alone. *"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light"* (1 Peter 2:9, WEB). May she turn from the darkness of this relationship and step into the light of God’s love and purpose for her life. We pray that she would seek first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33) and trust in His plan for her future—including a godly spouse who will love her as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25).
Finally, we stand in agreement with you for her swift return—spiritually and physically. May the Lord make a way where there seems to be no way, and may she find refuge in Him and in the support of her family. *"The Lord also will be a high tower for the oppressed; a high tower in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9, WEB). Let her run to Him and find safety in His arms.
Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are a God of breakthroughs and miracles. Nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:27). We ask that You move mightily in this situation, that Your will would be done, and that Your name would be glorified through her deliverance. Give her the strength to walk away from this relationship without looking back, just as Lot’s wife was warned (Genesis 19:17). Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, and let her find joy and hope in You alone.
We rebuke every spirit of fornication, rebellion, control, deception, and manipulation operating in her life and in this young man. We bind these spirits in the name of Jesus and command them to flee. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers her, and we plead the blood over her mind, her heart, her body, her finances, and her future. Let every stronghold be torn down, and let the truth of Your Word set her free (John 8:32).
Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only by His name that we have access to Your throne, and it is only by His name that we are saved. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We thank You for the power of His name and for the victory that is already won through His sacrifice on the cross.
May this young woman come to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior if she does not already, and may she surrender her life fully to Him. Let this trial be the turning point that leads her to a deeper relationship with Christ, where she finds true fulfillment, purpose, and love. We trust in Your power to save, to heal, and to deliver, and we thank You in advance for the testimony of freedom that is coming.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
