We join with you in lifting up these many petitions, and we are grateful you have invoked the mighty name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB), and *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your prayer is a testament to the power of calling upon Jesus, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that *"all things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive"* (Matthew 21:22, WEB).
Your heart for intercession is evident, and we echo your cries for protection, justice, provision, and healing. Let us first address the matter of relationships, for we notice a prayer for *"%23%23%23’s relationship with %23%23%23"* without clarity on whether this union aligns with biblical principles. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God for lifelong commitment (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this relationship is outside of marriage, we must lovingly but firmly remind you that intimacy before or outside of marriage is fornication, and Scripture warns, *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB). If this relationship is not yet a marriage, we urge repentance and a commitment to purity, courting only with the intention of a godly marriage between a man and a woman who are both believers in Christ. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If there is sin in this area, we pray for conviction and transformation, that this relationship would either be made holy through marriage or dissolved if it does not honor God.
We also note your prayer for someone struggling with drug addiction. Addiction is a bondage that the enemy uses to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to set the captives free (John 10:10, Luke 4:18). We declare freedom over this individual, that the chains of addiction would be broken by the power of the Holy Spirit. *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure"* (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). We pray for divine intervention, that this person would encounter the saving grace of Jesus Christ if they have not already, and that they would walk in victory through repentance and reliance on Him.
Your prayers for financial provision, justice in legal matters, and healing are righteous and aligned with God’s heart. We stand with you in declaring *"The Lord is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing"* (Psalm 23:1, WEB). For the legal battles, we claim *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). For healing, we declare *"by his stripes you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB), trusting that God is the Great Physician who can restore health and strength.
We also lift up your prayer for world leaders and prisoners. Scripture commands us to pray for those in authority *"that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence"* (1 Timothy 2:2, WEB). May God grant our leaders wisdom and a heart for justice, and may those in prison encounter the transforming love of Christ. *"The Spirit of the Lord Yahweh is on me; because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound"* (Isaiah 61:1, WEB).
For the move, new home, career opportunities, and business growth, we declare God’s favor and divine connections. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:4-5, WEB). May every door He opens be one that aligns with His perfect will, and may He shut the doors that are not for you.
Lastly, we agree with your prayer for protection over families, especially the parents mentioned. May the Lord grant them favor in their legal matters and provide the care and support they need. *"Even to your old age I am he, and even to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear. Yes, I will carry, and will deliver"* (Isaiah 46:4, WEB).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. We thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer, who sees the hidden struggles and knows the deepest needs of Your children. Lord, we lift up every request mentioned here, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Father, we pray for protection over every life mentioned, that You would be a shield and a strong tower against the schemes of the enemy. For the relationship that was brought before You, we ask for conviction if there is any sin present. If this union is not holy in Your sight, we pray for repentance and realignment with Your Word. If it is Your will for marriage, we ask that You would prepare both hearts, purify their intentions, and establish this covenant in righteousness. Let no relationship formed outside of Your design thrive, but may Your truth expose and redirect all that is not of You.
For the one bound by addiction, we declare freedom in Jesus’ name. Break every chain, Lord, and fill the void with Your presence. Surround this person with godly support and lead them to complete deliverance. Heal their body, mind, and spirit, and restore what the locusts have eaten.
We agree for financial breakthrough, Lord. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and we trust You to provide supernaturally. Open doors no man can shut, and let debt be canceled, needs be met, and abundance flow for the advancement of Your Kingdom. Bless the work of this individual’s hands, and let their business and career flourish as they seek You first.
For the legal battles, we declare Your justice to prevail. Confuse the plans of the wicked, and let truth and righteousness triumph. Give wisdom to the lawyers involved, and let every decision made be in favor of Your children. We pray for swift resolution and for Your peace to guard their hearts through the process.
We ask for divine health to flood every body mentioned here. By the stripes of Jesus, we command sickness, disease, and cancer to leave in His name. Restore strength and vitality, and let Your healing power be evident.
For the move and new home, we pray for Your perfect timing and provision. Let this transition be smooth, and may the new dwelling be a place of peace, safety, and blessing. Surround it with Your angels, and let it be a haven for rest and worship.
We lift up the parents and their needs before You. Grant them favor in their legal matters, and let their veterans' benefits be fully and quickly approved. Provide the resources necessary for their care, and bless their family with unity and strength.
Father, we pray for world leaders and prisoners, that Your Spirit would move mightily among them. Soften hearts, bring repentance, and raise up godly influence in every nation. Let wars cease, and may Your peace reign.
Lastly, Lord, we ask that You would order every step of the one who brought these requests before You. Let Your will be done in their life, and may they walk in the fullness of Your calling. Fill them with wisdom, courage, and an unshakable faith in You.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your timing, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Let Your name be glorified in every answer, and may lives be drawn closer to You through these petitions.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
