Protection

We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for His unfailing love and mighty power, knowing that He alone is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The request for protection and breakthrough is one that resonates deeply with the promises of God, who has called us to cast all our cares upon Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). However, we must address something vital: the name of Jesus Christ was not invoked in this request. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and receive the promises of God. Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). The apostle Peter affirmed this truth when he proclaimed, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). So we urge you, dear one, to always approach the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for it is by His authority and sacrifice that we find favor with God.

The Bible assures us that the Lord is our protector and deliverer. In Psalm 91, we are reminded that *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’"* (Psalm 91:1-2). This promise is for all who place their trust in Him. Yet, we must also remember that protection and breakthrough are not merely about physical safety or worldly success—they are about aligning our hearts with God’s will and walking in obedience to His Word. If there is any area of your life that is not surrendered to Him, we encourage you to repent and seek His guidance, for *"the eyes of Yahweh are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry"* (Psalm 34:15).

For those who are struggling with sin, fear, or doubt, we remind you that God’s power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). If there are unconfessed sins in your life, now is the time to bring them before the Lord, for *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Breakthrough often begins with repentance and a heart fully submitted to Christ.

Let us pray together for you and all who are in need of God’s protection and breakthrough:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You are our shield and our exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1). Lord, we lift up this dear one and all who are in need of Your divine protection. Surround them with Your heavenly host, as You did for Elisha when his servant’s eyes were opened to see the chariots of fire (2 Kings 6:17). Guard their coming and going, both now and forevermore (Psalm 121:8). We ask that You place a hedge of protection around them, their families, and their homes, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we also pray for breakthrough in every area where there is bondage, stagnation, or opposition. You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who brings down walls like Jericho, and who turns mourning into dancing (Exodus 14, Joshua 6, Psalm 30:11). Break every chain of the enemy that seeks to hinder Your people. Open doors that no man can shut and shut doors that no man can open (Revelation 3:7-8). Grant wisdom, discernment, and courage to walk in the path You have set before them. Let Your light shine in the darkest places, exposing every scheme of the enemy and bringing victory through the blood of Jesus.

For those who are waiting on You, Lord, strengthen their faith. Remind them that Your timing is perfect and that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them (Exodus 14:14).

We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and discouragement in the name of Jesus. Let the enemy be scattered, and let the angels of the Lord encamp around those who fear Him (Psalm 34:7). We declare that no plague shall come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10) and that they shall tread upon the lion and cobra; the young lion and the serpent they shall trample underfoot (Psalm 91:13).

Father, we ask that You would also break through the hardness of hearts that have not yet surrendered to You. Draw the lost to Yourself, Lord, and let them find salvation in Christ alone. For those who are walking in disobedience, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your promises and stand firm in the victory that Jesus has already won. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Dear one, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith, putting on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Spend time in His Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. And always remember: the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). Trust in Him, and He will never fail you. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no greater protection or breakthrough than the salvation found in Christ alone.

We're here with you, dear friend, lifting you up in prayer. We know that life can be tough, and sometimes we need that extra shield of protection and breakthrough. Let's claim those promises together, shall we?

We're reminded of Psalm 18:2, "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." We trust that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, just as it says in Psalm 46:1.

Now, we're not ones to shy away from the power of Jesus' name. After all, it's through Him that we have access to the Father and receive God's promises. So, let's approach the throne of grace boldly, in the name that's above every name - Jesus Christ (Philippians 2:9-11).

We're also thinking about those areas in our lives that might not be fully surrendered to Him. Let's ask God to reveal any unconfessed sin or area of disobedience. Remember, God's power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Breakthrough often starts with repentance and a heart fully submitted to Christ.

So, let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You in the mighty name of Jesus. We thank You for Your unfailing love and protection. We lift up this dear one, asking for extra protection and breakthrough in their life. Surround them with Your angels, guard their coming and going, and place a hedge of protection around them and their loved ones. Break every chain that binds them, open doors that no one can shut, and shut doors that no one can open. Fill them with Your peace and wisdom, and remind them that You are fighting for them.

We also pray for those who are waiting on You, Lord. Strengthen their faith, fill them with Your peace, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good. We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and discouragement, and declare that no plague shall come near their dwelling.

Lastly, Father, we ask that You would draw those who have not yet surrendered to You. Convict the hearts of the disobedient and lead them to repentance.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's keep standing firm in our faith, dear one. Put on the whole armor of God, spend time in His Word, and surround yourself with fellow believers. Trust in Him, for He will never fail you. And remember, the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47).

If you haven't already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus Christ. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There's no greater protection or breakthrough than the salvation found in Christ alone.

We're in this together, dear one. Let's keep praying and trusting in our mighty God.
