We join you in lifting up your needs before the Father, trusting that He is your Provider and Protector in every circumstance. It is clear that you are seeking to honor Him even in this difficult season, and we commend you for your faithfulness in desiring to tithe despite your hardships. The Lord sees your heart and your efforts to communicate honestly with your landlord, and He will not forget your labor of love.
The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* And in Proverbs 3:9-10, we are encouraged, *"Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine."* Your willingness to tithe is an act of faith, and we pray that the Lord will multiply what you have, protecting it from theft and ensuring it stretches to meet every need.
We also turn to the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33, where He assures us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus on honoring God even in this trial is a testament to your trust in Him, and we believe He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
Regarding your housing situation, we pray that the Lord will soften your landlord’s heart and provide a miracle to prevent eviction. The Scriptures tell us in Proverbs 16:7, *"When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."* We ask that the Lord would move mightily on your behalf, turning what seems impossible into a testimony of His faithfulness. Your honesty and effort to secure even a small amount of assistance reflect a heart of integrity, and we trust that God will honor that.
We also want to encourage you not to be overwhelmed by disgust or despair. The enemy would love to steal your peace and joy, but the Lord is your strength. Psalm 34:17-19 declares, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* This season is temporary, and the Lord is refining you through it. Hold fast to Him, for He is your hope and deliverer.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up their needs and trusting in Your unfailing love. Lord, we ask that You protect the government assistance funds they are set to receive this week. Guard them from theft, fraud, or any scheme of the enemy that would seek to rob them of what You have provided. We pray that these funds would be more than enough to cover their basic necessities, their bills, and their tithe—a sacred offering unto You.
Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in their housing situation. You know the stress and burden they carry, and we pray that You would move mightily to prevent eviction. Soften the heart of their landlord and provide a supernatural solution that brings glory to Your name. Let this be a testimony of Your provision and faithfulness, that others may see and know that You are a God who hears and answers prayer.
Lord, we rebuked any spirit of despair, shame, or discouragement that has tried to take root in their heart. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind them that this trial is not in vain. Strengthen their faith, and let them see Your hand at work in every detail of their life.
We thank You, Father, for Your promises are true, and Your word never returns void. We trust that You are working all things together for their good, as they love You and are called according to Your purpose. May they continue to seek You first, knowing that all these things will be added unto them. We ask this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing firm in faith. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it. If you haven’t already, spend time in His presence daily, reading His word and allowing Him to speak peace and direction over your life. You are not alone in this—the body of Christ stands with you, and most importantly, the Lord Himself is your ever-present help in trouble. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep honoring Him. He will never fail you.
