We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting your heartfelt cry for protection, health, and forgiveness. It is good that you seek the Lord’s covering, for He alone is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We are also glad to see you acknowledge your need for forgiveness, for the Word tells us, *"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:8-9).
Yet we must lovingly address something missing in your prayer—you have not called upon the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved"* (Acts 16:31). Without Him, no prayer can reach the Father, for Jesus Himself said, *"No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6).
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul before You, asking for Your divine protection over their life. Shield them from every attack of the enemy, for You are greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Guard their health, Lord, and strengthen their body, soul, and spirit. We ask that You expose and break every scheme of darkness that seeks to harm them, for You are their fortress and deliverer (Psalm 18:2).
Father, we thank You that You are faithful to forgive when we confess our sins. Cleanse this heart, Lord, and create in them a pure heart, renewing a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Deliver them from temptation and lead them not into sin, but help them to walk in obedience to Your Word. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may have the power to resist the devil and stand firm in Your truth.
We pray all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May this soul come to know Him more deeply, walking in the fullness of His protection, grace, and victory. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, putting on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) so that you may stand against the enemy’s attacks. Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). And remember, the battle belongs to the Lord—He has already won the victory through Christ Jesus. Stand firm in that truth! If you have not yet received Jesus as your Savior, we urge you to repent of your sins and place your faith in Him today. He is waiting with open arms.
