We join with you in lifting up this request for protection, and we are glad you have invoked the precious name of Jesus in your prayer—for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of God with confidence. The Scriptures remind us in **Acts 4:12**, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* and in **John 14:6**, Jesus declares, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* Your acknowledgment of His name is foundational, for without faith in Christ, our prayers would be empty.
We also take this moment to encourage you to grow deeper in your walk with Him. Protection is not just a request we make but a promise we stand upon when we abide in Christ. **Psalm 91:1-2** assures us, *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Therefore I will say, ‘Yahweh is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’"* If you are walking closely with the Lord—obeying His Word, seeking His face in prayer, and living in repentance—you can be confident that His protection is over you. However, if there are areas of disobedience or unconfessed sin, we urge you to turn from them, for **Psalm 66:18** warns, *"If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened."*
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved one who seeks Your protection. Lord, You are our shield and our strong tower, a present help in trouble. We ask that You surround them with Your heavenly host, guarding them from every scheme of the enemy, every snare of the wicked, and every harm that may seek to come against them. Cover them with the blood of Jesus, which speaks better things than the blood of Abel, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let them walk in the assurance that You are with them always.
If there is any area in their life where they have strayed from Your will, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Strengthen their faith, Lord, that they may not waver but stand firm in the knowledge that You are their Protector. Let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty, where no evil can befall them.
We declare Your promises over them, that You will command Your angels concerning them to guard them in all their ways. Let them see Your hand of protection at work in their life, and may they give You all the glory. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, **Amen.**
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, for His protection is not a one-time prayer but a lifestyle of walking with Him. Read His Word, pray without ceasing, and trust that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. If you ever feel fearful or uncertain, cling to **Isaiah 41:10**: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Stand firm in Christ, and He will be your ever-present help.
