We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, knowing that He alone is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Your request for protection and breakthrough resonates deeply with us, for the Scriptures remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). It is only through the mighty name of Jesus Christ that we can stand firm and experience the victory He has already won for us. We notice you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request, and we gently remind you that it is *only* through His name that we have access to the Father and receive His promises. Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by His authority that we pray and receive breakthrough.
The Lord is our protector, and He promises to guard us in all our ways (Psalm 91:11). He is the one who breaks through every barrier, shatters every chain, and makes a way where there seems to be no way. Let us hold fast to His promise in Isaiah 43:2: *"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you."* Our God is faithful, and He will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Yet we must also examine our hearts and lives, for the Lord often calls us to repentance before breakthrough comes. Are there areas where we have not fully surrendered to Him? Are there sins we need to confess, or unforgiveness we need to release? The Lord tells us in 2 Chronicles 7:14, *"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."* Let us seek Him with all our hearts, for it is in our brokenness and surrender that His strength is made perfect.
We also encourage you to put on the whole armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that you may stand against the schemes of the enemy (Ephesians 6:10-18). The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let us walk in that authority, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Now, let us pray together for you and all who are in need of the Lord’s protection and breakthrough:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are our shield and our exceeding great reward, our protector and our deliverer. Lord, we ask for Your *extraordinary* protection over Your children—those who have submitted this request and all who are in need. Surround them with Your heavenly hosts, Lord, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Hide them under the shadow of Your wings, and let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7).
Father, we ask for breakthrough in every area where the enemy has sought to hinder, oppress, or delay. Break every chain of bondage, every spirit of fear, and every stronghold that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). Lord, open doors that no man can shut, and shut doors that no man can open (Revelation 3:7). Let Your favor rest upon Your people, and let Your light shine in the darkest places of their lives.
We pray for those who are weary, Lord—renew their strength like the eagles (Isaiah 40:31). For those who are anxious, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). For those who are battling sickness or disease, we declare healing by the stripes of Jesus (1 Peter 2:24).
