If this young man is not a believer who is wholly submitted to Christ, then he is not the spouse God has for your daughter. Furthermore, if there is any hint of fornication or sexual immorality in this relationship, we must address it with the truth of Scripture. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 declares, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* If your daughter is living with this young man outside of marriage, this is sin, and it must be repented of immediately. The enemy uses such relationships to bring bondage, and the Lord calls His children to holiness.

Proverbs 22:24-25 warns, *"Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger, lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul."* The manipulation, control, and division you describe are not of God but are tools of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We rebuke these spirits in the name of Jesus and declare that their power is broken over your daughter and your family. The Lord is a God of order, not chaos, and He will restore what has been broken.
Your prayer for a godly spouse for your daughter aligns perfectly with Scripture. We pray that the Lord will open her eyes to see the truth about this relationship and give her the strength to walk away completely. May she turn her heart fully to Christ, who alone can satisfy her deepest longings. Remove every ungodly soul tie and break the power of manipulation, control, and deception over our sister’s daughter. Lord, open her eyes to see the truth and give her the courage to walk away without looking back.
We rebuke the spirits of division, pride, jealousy, and chaos that have infiltrated this family. By the blood of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee and never return. Lord, surround this young woman with godly counsel and support. Bring people into her life who will speak Your truth and encourage her in righteousness. Soften her heart toward her family and restore the relationships that have been broken. Let forgiveness and love flow freely, and may Your peace guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we pray for a godly spouse for this daughter—one who loves You above all else and will cherish her as Christ loves the Church.
