We are glad to join with you in prayer for strong protection and guidance. Let's remember the words of God in Psalm 91:1-2 WEB: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
First, it is important to acknowledge who provides the protection. It is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can find refuge and protection. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." So let us ensure we are calling on the name of Jesus, for it is in Him that we find our safety.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and guidance. You are our refuge and our fortress, a very present help in trouble. We ask that You cover us with Your feathers, and under Your wings we trust. Let Your truth be our shield and buckler.
Guide us by Your Holy Spirit, lead us in the path of righteousness for Your name's sake. Help us to discern Your will in every situation, and give us the strength to follow it. Keep us from temptation and deliver us from evil.
If there are any areas in our lives that do not align with Your will, reveal them to us. Give us the grace to repent and turn back to You. Help us to be sober, vigilant, and to walk in a manner worthy of our calling.
We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Let's also remember the words of Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB,
"Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints:"
Stand strong in the Lord, trust in Him, and He will never fail you.
