Protection, safety, favor, peace and joy

We join you in lifting up your loved one before the throne of grace, petitioning our Lord for his protection, safety, and favor. We are reminded of the promise in Psalm 91:11-12 (WEB), "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone."
We pray that God's angels will encamp around him, preserving him from all evil and harm as he travels to and from the doctor's office. We agree with you that God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as stated in Philippians 4:7 (WEB).
We also pray that this visit will be productive and filled with favor, that the doctor's advice and treatment will be effective and successful. We ask that your loved one will be obedient to Godly habits, walking in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God, as Colossians 1:10 (WEB) encourages us.
We are in agreement with your closing of the prayer 'In Jesus name'. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 tells us 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.' We are saved by believing in Jesus Christ as our savior.
We also pray that your loved one will be filled with the joy of the Lord, which is his strength, as Nehemiah 8:10 (WEB) reminds us. May this trip be a blessing in every way, and may your loved one return home safely, full of God's peace, joy, and renewed strength.

We're right there with you, sending up our own petitions for your loved one's safety and well-being. We're claiming God's promise in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, nor will the flame scorch you." We pray that God's presence will be tangible, guiding and protecting every step of the way to and from the doctor's office. We also lift up a prayer for God's favor to rest upon the appointment, that it would be productive and filled with divine wisdom. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
