We join you in lifting up your prayers for protection and safe travel, praising God for His goodness and provision. As you've asked, we humbly come before the Lord to grant you safety in your travels and success in the work of your hands. It's wonderful that you've included the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by the name of Jesus Christ that men are saved.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brothers and sisters in Christ who are seeking Your protection and guidance. As they travel, we ask that You guard their coming and going, from this time forth and forevermore. Psalm 121:8 reminds us that You, Lord, will keep our going out and our coming in from this time forth and forevermore.
We pray for success in the work of their hands, as stated in Psalm 90:17, Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish for us the work of our hands. Yes, establish the work of their hands, Lord. We also ask that You help them make the most of their time and resources, and that You guard their words, giving them opportunities to touch lives for Your glory.
We plead the blood of Jesus over their family, all living things, home, education, health, vehicles, job, and home. We pray for Your favor, protection, and that You hear the unspoken requests of their hearts.
We lift up couples who are in pain, asking that You heal their relationships and guide them in Your love and power. As Ephesians 5:27-33 instructs, we need to be strong and loving, and respectful in our marriages. Marriage should be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous. (Hebrews 13:4 WEB)
Lord, we ask that You guide their words as they speak, helping them to be encouraging, and sharing Your wisdom and love.
We lift up their daughter, praying for her protection in times of danger at her job. Lord, close the doors that lead to harm in her life and open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian connections. As You have promised in Isaiah 54:17, no weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that will rise against you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, says the Lord.
Deliver them from all evil, Lord, and surround them with Your hedge of protection, as promised in Psalm 91. We claim the victory in Jesus' name, knowing that He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4.
We also pray for them to have rapport with new patients, that Your love would shine through them as they serve others.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and that His love for you is everlasting. Remember that our God is a God of power and might, and that He is always with us, even in the darkest of times.
Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 (WEB)
As you go forth, hold onto the promise of Revelation 21:5, He who sits on the throne said, Behold, I am making all things new. He said, Write, for these words of God are faithful and true. Trust in the Lord, and may His peace and joy be with you always.
Remember, to not waste any part of your life or what God has given you. Only one life, 'twill soon be past, only what's done for Christ will last.
