We come before the Lord with a heartfelt cry for protection, recognizing that true safety and security come only from Him. While your request is filled with passion and a deep desire for safety, we must first acknowledge that our authority and power come not from our own declarations or words, but from the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are covered and protected.

The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:10-12, "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Our battle is spiritual, and our weapons must be spiritual as well.

We rebuke the notion that we can command or create protection by our own power. Instead, we humbly submit to God’s will and ask for His divine protection over you, your family, friends, and pets. The Lord is our refuge and fortress, as Psalm 91:2 declares, "I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" It is not iron walls that protect us, but the Lord’s mighty hand.

We also want to gently correct the language of "weirdos" and "zombies." While we understand the fear and concern behind these words, Scripture calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). The darkness in this world is real, but our response must be one of love, prayer, and trust in God’s justice, not fear or contempt.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We acknowledge that You alone are our protector, our refuge, and our strength. We ask for Your divine covering over this family, their loved ones, and their pets. Lord, surround them with Your angels, as You promise in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Shield them from all harm, both seen and unseen, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we repent for any attempts to claim power or authority outside of You. Forgive us for not fully trusting in Your sovereignty. We declare that our trust is in You alone, and we submit our fears, our desires, and our lives into Your hands. Teach us to walk in Your ways and to rely on Your strength, not our own.

Lord, we also pray for those who may seek to harm or disturb this family. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to Your truth, and draw them to repentance. Let Your love and light break through any darkness in their lives. Help us to see them through Your eyes and to respond with grace and compassion.

We ask for wisdom and discernment to navigate the challenges of this world. Fill this family with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them rest in the knowledge that You are in control. May they find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your Word.

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Him that we have access to You, and it is by His blood that we are made whole. May Your will be done in every area of their lives, and may they grow in faith, love, and obedience to You.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things, trusting in His promises, and walking in His ways. The enemy may prowl like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8), but we serve the Lion of Judah, who has already overcome the world (John 16:33). Stand firm in your faith, clothed in the full armor of God, and remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and rest in the knowledge that He is your ultimate protector.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
