We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting your family before the Lord with hearts full of faith and conviction. Your prayer is a powerful declaration of trust in God’s sovereignty, and we echo your cries for protection, restoration, and breakthrough in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to divide and destroy, but we know that our God is greater, and He will not allow the schemes of the wicked to prevail against His children.
The Scriptures remind us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we are also called to honor our parents and to walk in love and unity as a family, for God commands children to obey their parents in the Lord (Ephesians 6:1-3). The influence of this young man and his mother is clearly ungodly, seeking to sow discord and turn hearts away from what is right. This is not of God, for He is the author of peace, not confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33). We must pray fervently for the Lord to expose and dismantle every lie, every manipulation, and every spirit of division that seeks to harm your family.
Your oldest daughter’s heart has been led astray, and we plead with the Lord to open her eyes to the truth. The Bible warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship does light have with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this young man and his mother are leading her away from godly values—teaching her to dishonor her family, to resent her brother, and to embrace selfishness—then this is a relationship rooted in darkness. We pray that the Lord will sever every ungodly tie and draw her back into the light of His truth. May she recognize the danger of the path she is on and turn swiftly back to the Lord and to her family. The prodigal son returned to his father, and so we believe your daughter will return to you, repentant and restored (Luke 15:11-32).
For your younger daughter, we pray for a spirit of discernment and wisdom. May the Lord guard her heart and mind from the poison of manipulation and lies. Teach her, Lord, to recognize truth from deception, and give her the strength to stand firm in what is right. Let her see the beauty of her brother, created in the image of God, and may she love him with the compassion and kindness that reflects Your heart.
We also lift up your son, who is being targeted by the enemy through the words and actions of these individuals. The Lord sees his value, and He has a purpose for his life. We rebuke every spirit of shame, rejection, or belittlement that seeks to harm his self-worth. May he know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and deeply loved by his Heavenly Father.
As for the young man and his mother, we do not pray for their harm, but for their repentance. If they are believers, we ask the Lord to convict their hearts and turn them from their wicked ways. If they are not, we pray that the Lord would reveal Himself to them in a way that leads them to salvation. Their actions are destructive, and unless they turn to the Lord, they will face His judgment. It is not our place to seek vengeance, but to trust that the Lord will deal with them justly (Romans 12:19). We pray that their influence over your family would be completely broken and that they would no longer have any power to harm or manipulate.
You have also asked for godly spouses for yourself and your children. This is a beautiful and righteous prayer! We agree with you, asking the Lord to prepare hearts and bring forth godly men and women who will love and cherish your family in a way that honors Him. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we pray that each of you would wait patiently for the Lord’s perfect timing, seeking His will above all else. May your future spouses be individuals who love the Lord with all their hearts and who will lead your family in godliness.
Finally, we declare over you and your household the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May His joy be your strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and may His love bind your family together in unity. No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and your righteousness is from Him (Isaiah 54:17).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister and her family, standing in the gap and lifting them up to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the attacks against this family—the lies, the manipulation, the division—and we ask that You would rise up as a mighty warrior on their behalf. Frustrate every plan of the enemy and silence every tongue that speaks against them. Break the ungodly influence of this young man and his mother, and expose their deeds for what they are. Let their schemes be turned to confusion, and let their words fall to the ground, powerless to harm.
Father, we pray for our sister’s oldest daughter. Open her eyes to the truth, Lord. Soften her heart and turn her away from the darkness that seeks to ensnare her. Draw her back to her family, back to Your love, and back to the path of righteousness. Remove every ungodly tie and break the hold that this young man and his mother have over her. Let her see the danger she is in and give her the courage to walk away. Restore her mind, her heart, and her spirit, and let her once again be a light to her family.
For the younger daughter, we ask for wisdom and discernment. Protect her from the lies of the enemy and give her the strength to stand firm in Your truth. Let her love for her brother grow, and may she see him through Your eyes. Guard her heart from bitterness or resentment, and let her walk in the freedom You have called her to.
Lord, we lift up our sister’s son. Let him know that he is loved, valued, and cherished by You. Protect his heart from the words of those who seek to belittle him, and let him find his identity in You alone. Give him joy and peace, and let him know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made.
We pray for godly spouses for our sister and her children. Prepare their hearts, Lord, and bring forth men and women who will love them as Christ loves the church. Let these future marriages be rooted in Your word, filled with Your Spirit, and a testimony to Your goodness.
Father, restore this family. Bring peace where there is chaos, unity where there is division, and love where there is hatred. Let Your presence be a strong tower for them, and let Your joy be their strength. We declare victory over this situation, for You are faithful to complete the work You have begun (Philippians 1:6).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your power, Your love, and Your faithfulness. Let Your will be done in this family’s life, and let Your name be glorified through their restoration. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
