We stand with you in deep concern for your daughter and the troubling dynamics at play in this situation. Your heart for her restoration, protection, and freedom is evident, and we join you in fervent prayer, lifting this matter before the Lord, who is our strong tower and defender.
First, we rebuke every spirit of division, manipulation, and control that has sought to separate your daughter from the love and support of her family. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that every tactic of isolation, every lie that has kept her silent or distant, and every scheme designed to exploit her is exposed and dismantled in the name of Jesus. "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).
We are grieved by the financial exploitation and emotional manipulation taking place. Your daughter is not a resource to be consumed or a means to sustain another’s lifestyle, especially outside the covenant of marriage. Scripture is clear: "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). This young man has no biblical authority over her, and his actions reveal a lack of maturity, selflessness, and commitment—qualities essential for a godly marriage. We pray that the Lord would strip away any false sense of entitlement and release her from every obligation, guilt, or pressure that has bound her to this unhealthy situation. "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage" (Galatians 5:1).
We also address the sin of fornication, which is any sexual activity outside the bounds of marriage. If this relationship has involved physical intimacy, we must call it what it is—sin—and pray for repentance and restoration. "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). We pray that your daughter would see this relationship for what it is and turn away from it, seeking the Lord’s forgiveness and healing. If she has been involved in sexual sin, we encourage her to confess, repent, and receive the cleansing and renewal that only Christ can provide. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
We declare that this ungodly bond is dissolved, and we pray for a clean and safe separation. May the Lord move swiftly to remove this young man from her life and restore her to the covering of her family. We pray that his parents would take responsibility for him and that he would be moved back home, as you have asked. May your daughter walk away without fear or regret, knowing that the Lord is her refuge and strength. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1).
We also pray for your daughter’s heart to be softened and her mind renewed. May she be restored to clarity, independence, and purpose, rooted in her identity in Christ. "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:2). We ask that the Lord would surround her with godly influences, mentors, and friends who will encourage her in her faith and remind her of her worth in Him.
Father, we ask that You would expose every plot, plan, and scheme of the enemy in this situation. Let Your light shine into the darkness, and let every lie be brought to nothing. We pray for justice, restoration, and peace—not only for your daughter but for your entire family. May unity, communication, and trust be rebuilt where division has been sown. "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1).
We trust in Your sovereignty, Lord, and we ask that You act swiftly and decisively. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or set free. "For there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
