Beloved of All
Please pray for my daughter who is in a toxic relationship. This relationship has opened doors to deception, financial exploitation, and spiritual bondage, and I pray that the Lord would break every chain. Lord, I remove the rebellion, control, and ungodly influence of this young man and his mother. My daughter is a child of the Most High God, and she does not need to conform to this young man and his family ways or seek their approval. I pray that her eyes would be opened to the truth, that this man is not her husband, he is not a shepherd, nor is he ready for the responsibilities of marriage. The burden she carries for him is not hers to bear, and I ask the Lord to remove every false sense of obligation from her heart. Father, I ask that You would gently but firmly remove her from this toxic bondage. Break the stubbornness in her heart and replace it with a hunger for righteousness. Let her see the harm this relationship is causing, financially, spiritually, and emotionally. I pray that she would no longer defend this man or desire to live with him outside of marriage. Instead, draw her back to the safety of Your will, the support of her family, and the fellowship of her church. I declare that she will not be swayed by the ungodly counsel of this woman, who has overstepped her bounds and sought to replace me as her mother and taking her away from her church home. I pray that the Lord would expose her motives, her disrespect, jealousy and frustrate every plan she has to divide or corrupt my family. Lord, I ask that my daughter will see her supportive family in Your eyes not in the eyes of this young man and his mother. I pray for godly spouses for my daughters, men who will love them as Christ loves the church, lead them in righteousness, and honor the covenant of marriage as You intended. Jesus declare that every plan of the enemy to divide, isolate, or destroy my family will fail. The Lord fights for me, and He will restore what has been broken. I pray that my home would be a beacon of His light, drawing others to the love and grace found only in Jesus. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over me and my children. No weapon formed against her shall prosper. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

We join with you in lifting up your daughter and your family before the throne of grace, and we thank you for bringing this burden to the Lord so faithfully in Jesus' name. We hear your heart as a mother who loves her daughter deeply and who discerns the spiritual reality behind this toxic relationship. We stand with you in prayer for her protection, for peace in your home, and for full restoration.

We agree with you that this relationship has opened doors that God never intended to be opened. The Word tells us Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity, or what fellowship has light with darkness 2 Cor 6:14, and Do not be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals 1 Cor 15:33. When a courtship is not centered on Christ and on the goal of godly marriage between a man and a woman who both love the Lord, it easily becomes a place of deception, control, and spiritual bondage. We also must lovingly and firmly address what you have rightly discerned, that your daughter is desiring to live with this young man outside of marriage. The Scripture is clear that this is fornication and not God's will for His children. Flee sexual immorality 1 Cor 6:18 and Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Heb 13:4. We rebuke this sin not to condemn your daughter, whom we love and for whom we pray, but because sin brings harm financially, spiritually and emotionally, and it separates us from the safety of God's will. A boyfriend is to be a brother in Christ in courtship with marriage as the goal, and a godly husband is called to love his wife even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her Eph 5:25, to provide, to protect and to shepherd his home well. If this young man is not a shepherd, is not ready for the responsibilities of marriage, and is a source of financial exploitation and control, then he is not the husband God intends for her.

We also hear your prayer concerning the ungodly influence and overstepping of this young man's mother. We pray with you that every plan to divide, isolate or replace your godly role as her mother would be exposed and frustrated, for the Scripture says There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed Luke 8:17 and Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them Eph 5:11. A wise woman builds her house Prov 14:1, and children are called to honor their father and mother Eph 6:2. We pray that your daughter's eyes would be opened to see her family not through the lens of this young man and his mother, but through the eyes of the Lord, and that she would return to the safety of her family and the fellowship of her church home. Blessed is the man who doesn't walk in the counsel of the wicked Psalm 1:1.

We pray that the false sense of obligation and the heavy burden she carries for this young man would be lifted, for the Lord says Cast your burden on Yahweh and he will sustain you Psalm 55:22 and Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matt 11:28. That burden is not hers to bear. We agree with you in praying against stubbornness and rebellion and asking the Lord to replace it with a hunger for righteousness, for Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled Matt 5:6. We are reminded not to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of your mind Rom 12:2, and that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Tim 1:7.

We take authority in Jesus' name over every chain of deception and spiritual bondage, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness Eph 6:12, and we know that If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36 and Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free Gal 5:1. We declare that No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isa 54:17 and that He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before You for this precious daughter, Your child. We plead the blood of Jesus over her and over her mother and family. Lord, break every chain of deception, financial exploitation, control and spiritual bondage that has held her. Open the eyes of her heart Eph 1:18 that she may see the truth, that this man is not her husband and this relationship is not Your will for her. Gently but firmly draw her out of this toxic bondage. Remove every false obligation and every lie that she must conform to this young man and his family to be approved or loved. Soften her heart where there has been stubbornness and rebellion and give her a deep hunger for righteousness and for You. Convict her concerning living together outside of marriage and lead her to flee from fornication and to desire purity and holiness. Expose every ungodly counsel and every motive of jealousy, disrespect and division, and frustrate every plan of the enemy to divide, isolate or destroy this family. Restore her to the safety of Your will, to the love and support of her family, and to the fellowship of her church. We ask You to heal what has been broken and to restore what the enemy has stolen Joel 2:25. Provide in Your perfect timing godly spouses for her and her sisters, men who love You first, who will love them as Christ loves the church and honor the covenant of marriage as You intended. Let this home be a beacon of Your light Matt 5:14, drawing others to Your love and grace. We thank You that You fight for us Exod 14:14 and that You will never leave us nor forsake us Deut 31:6. We trust You to complete this work. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We hear how heavy this has been for you as you watch your daughter in this relationship and carry so much concern for her safety and future. Your love for her and desire to see her free, clear eyed and at peace comes through so strongly, and we are joining you in prayer for her protection and restoration.

One thing that stood out is your prayer that the false sense of obligation would lift from her. In a controlling dynamic it can become hard to tell what is truly hers to carry and what is not, including financially and emotionally. Part of healing is often rediscovering that sense of being distinct yet still deeply connected to family and to the Lord, with freedom to say yes and no from her own convictions and to lean on safe people who care for her. Your steady, loving presence matters more than you may see right now, even when she seems stubborn or defensive.

It may help to keep one or two trusted people close to you in this season, perhaps a pastor or a mature woman from your church, so you are not holding this burden alone and have wisdom for loving boundaries around money, time and access to your home. Continuing to keep the door open with calm, brief contact and prayer can keep relationship intact while you trust God to open her eyes in His timing.

Father, we lift this daughter to You and ask for Your protection over her heart, mind and body. Gently lead her toward truth and toward the safety of family and church community. Give her mother peace, wisdom and strength each day, and restore what has been strained in this family. In Jesus name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and carried with tenderness before the throne of grace, and we join our hearts with yours for your daughter and for your household.

We understand the heaviness you bear as a mother who watches a child walk in a path that brings spiritual bondage and sorrow. The Lord knows the burden you carry, and there is a well in the family where in prayer with the children you may bring all the necessities of the household before God, and mention each child by name. You have done well to bring her before Him, for deliverance from sin and from every chain is solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He alone brings forth His people, and what He does is effectual.

We agree with you in prayer according to the holy and good design of God for marriage, that it is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that living together and the privileges of marriage belong within that covenant alone. We do not ask the Lord to bless what lies outside His will, but we ask Him to make His will plain and precious to your daughter, and to grant her a hunger for righteousness. May the Lord in His mercy open her eyes to see the truth concerning this relationship, that this young man is not her shepherd and not ready to bear the holy responsibilities of marriage, and that the burden she has taken up is not hers to bear. May every false sense of obligation be removed from her heart, and may stubbornness be broken by the gentle and firm look of Christ, who restored Peter with a look and brought him back with weeping to repentance and to usefulness again.

We pray that the Lord who has found a ransom, even the precious blood of Jesus Christ shed for sinners, would break every chain of deception, financial exploitation and ungodly influence. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son, and that same power is able to deliver your daughter. We ask that the Lord would frustrate every counsel that would divide or corrupt your family, that He would guard your home in peace within its borders, and that He would draw your daughter back to the safety of His will, to the support of her family and to the fellowship of her church. May she come to see her family as God sees it, with honor and love, and may she no longer defend what harms her spiritually, emotionally and in every other way.

We also pray for the young man and his mother, that the Lord would expose what is not of Him and would bring conviction and, if it be His mercy, bring them also to repentance and faith in Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

We plead with you to keep on in prayer, for the clock of mercy strikes in heaven at the hour appointed by the eternal purpose of Jehovah. And when deliverance comes, as we trust it shall, you will have a song of deliverance to sing, for you will not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. He who chastens sorely also restores, and He brings forth His people not empty but enriched by His grace.

We now lift your daughter before the Lord, that no weapon formed against her shall prosper as she abides in Christ, and that the blood of Jesus Christ would be her covering and plea. May the Lord fight for you and restore what has been broken, and make your home a beacon of His light, that others may be drawn to the love and grace found only in Jesus.

Father, break the chains, restore the wandering heart, keep this family in Your peace, and provide in Your perfect time godly spouses for these daughters, men who will love as Christ loves the church and honor the covenant as You intended. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and ransom. Amen.

May the Lord break every chain of toxic bondage around this daughter, open her eyes to the truth, and draw her back to His will and the safety of her family. *"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36). *"No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper"* (Isaiah 54:17). *"The Lord fights for you; you need only to be still"* (Exodus 14:14). Amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26
