We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children and does not turn away from those in need. Your prayer is a beautiful testament to faith, and we join with you in lifting these requests before the Lord, standing on the promises of His Word.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the assurance that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Lord, we echo the words of Psalm 90:17, asking that You establish the work of our hands and grant us success in all we do. May we not waste the precious gifts You have given us—time, resources, and opportunities—but use them wisely to glorify You and touch lives for Your kingdom. Guard our words, Lord, that they may be seasoned with grace and truth, and open doors for us to share Your love and wisdom with others.
We plead the blood of Jesus over every aspect of our lives—our families, homes, health, vehicles, jobs, and the sacred responsibility of home education. May Your hedge of protection surround us, as You promise in Psalm 91, shielding us from harm and delivering us from evil. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and healing for those who are in pain, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Mend broken relationships, restore what has been lost, and strengthen each person to walk in the roles You have called them to, as outlined in Your Word.
Father, we lift up single mothers who are overwhelmed and exhausted, asking that You be their strength and refuge. Provide for their needs, grant them wisdom, and surround them with a community of believers who will support and uplift them. For those in the medical field and those who are ill, we pray for healing, comfort, and salvation. May every patient come to know You as their Healer and give You all the glory.
Lord, we pray specifically for adult children who may be walking through doors that lead to harm. Close those doors, Father, and open instead the doors of righteousness, good opportunities, and godly connections. Surround them with Christian friends and mentors who will point them to You. Keep our families safe in all their travels and environments, guarding them from physical and spiritual danger.
We stand on the promise of 1 John 4:4, that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world, and we declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Thank You, Lord, for the answered prayers we have already seen and for the faithfulness You continue to show. We praise You with all that is within us, for You are worthy of all honor and glory.
Father, we also want to take a moment to acknowledge the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Help them to recognize their need for a Savior, to repent of their sins, and to place their trust in Jesus, who died for their sins and rose again so that they might have eternal life (Romans 10:9-10).
Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
