Protection of job, and to do well in new position

Please pray that my job is protected and that I can do well when I start my new position this week. Please help me get off to a good start. Please help me clean and organize my home and get car repairs done. I pray that the repairs will be a fair price. ou know what is going on, Father and the worries on my mind. thank you for praying. We join with you in prayer and thank you for inviting us to stand with you before the Father in Jesus' name. We hear the weight of the worries on your mind and the desire in your heart to honor God in your work and to be a good steward of your home and resources, and we bring all of these things before the Lord together.

We are encouraged that you have come to the Father in Jesus' name, for it is through Him we have access to God and confidence that He hears us. John 14:6 reminds us that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him.

The Lord knows your new position and the desire you have to get off to a good start and to have your job protected. We are reminded in Colossians 3:23 that whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, and in Proverbs 16:3 to commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. We also take comfort in Philippians 4:6-7 where we are told in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. You can cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you as we read in 1 Peter 5:7.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up our dear brother or sister to You in the name of Jesus. We thank You that You know all that is going on and every worry on their mind. We ask for Your hand of protection over their job and for Your favor as they begin this new position this week. Grant them wisdom, clarity, diligence, and a spirit of excellence, that their work may be established and pleasing to You. Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us and establish the work of our hands for us as promised in Psalm 90:17. Give them peace and confidence for a good start, help them to learn quickly, to build good relationships with coworkers and supervisors, and to work heartily as unto You.

Lord, we also ask for Your help in their home and practical needs. Give them strength and order as they clean and organize their home, that it may be a place of peace and good stewardship. We pray for the car repairs, that You would provide honest and skilled hands to do the work and that the price would be fair and just. Provide for every need according to Your riches and help them to trust You to supply what is needed as they seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness as taught in Matthew 6:33.

Father, quiet their anxious thoughts and fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus and remind them daily that You are with them and will never leave them. We commit this new position, this home, and this vehicle into Your hands and ask that Your will be done in all things. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue committing each day to the Lord before you begin, preparing diligently, resting well, and doing your work faithfully as unto Him. He is faithful to equip you for what He has called you to. Trust Him with the details of your home and car as well, and allow His peace to guard your heart as you walk into this new opportunity.

We've been thinking of you as this new week approaches and you prepare to start your new position. Wanting to do well and to have your job protected is a very understandable hope, and we join you in bringing that to the Lord along with the other concerns weighing on you at home and with your car, and we hear how much you want to get off to a steady, faithful start.

Starting well often comes down to a few quiet habits in those first days. If it helps, try taking a small notebook to jot down names, expectations, and any questions that come up, and don't hesitate to ask your supervisor how they would like things done. People usually appreciate a teachable spirit more than someone who tries to have every answer on day one. For the home and car needs, you might give yourself permission to handle one small piece at a time, perhaps one room or closet this week and a written estimate for the car repair so you can compare a fair price without feeling rushed.

Father, we bring our friend before You in Jesus' name. You see the worries on their mind and the desire to work faithfully in this new role. Grant steadiness, clarity, and favor in these first days, and provide wisdom for the home and car needs and for every expense. Give peace as they trust You with what is ahead. Amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord with thankfulness that you have come in childlike confidence to make your approach unto Him even when cares press heavily upon you. He knows what is going on and the worries upon your mind, and not one of them is hidden from His eye.

You ask for protection in your employment and for grace to do well as you enter upon a new position this week. Be not staggered as though some new thing had happened to you, and do not fret and worry about what you cannot help. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Can you alter it with all your worrying. Rather look to Him who is able to keep you. Remember how it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. Under great losses and trials he kept right with God and did not speak in an unworthy manner, and if God could uphold Job in all his trouble, you may be sure that He can support you. Look to Him for this divine support. The Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends, and our longest sorrows have a close when God has gotten His end in them. So let us pray and leave the keeping of your place and your labour in His faithful hands.

We join you in prayer that the Lord will establish the work of your hands in this new station, that He will give you wisdom, diligence and a quiet spirit, that you may begin well and continue faithfully, and that the very lowest and meanest place, if it be His appointment, may be received as better than we have any right to claim. We ask also that He will help you to set your house in order, to clean and organize your home with strength and cheerfulness, and to provide for the repair of your car. May He guide the hands that work upon it and grant you a fair and honest price, for He cares for these temporal matters which concern His children.

May the Lord give you fresh oil for this fresh duty, and cause you to hear His voice and to have a more vivid apprehension of His presence, so that you may yield yourself wholly to Him and find that He must be right in all His dealings. We commend you to His keeping, praying that He will turn your anxiety into trust and your labour into fruitfulness.

O Father, keep this Thy servant in Thy providence, prosper the new position now undertaken, grant order and peace in the home, and mercy in the matter of the car, and let all be done to Thy glory. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who hears the prayers of His people. Amen.
