We stand with you in this time of distress, lifting your family up to our Heavenly Father, who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). It is heartbreaking to endure mistreatment, especially from those who should be a source of love and support. Yet we see your faith shining through as you turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for solace and justice. Your endurance for the sake of your granddaughter is a testament to the love and sacrifice that mirrors Christ’s love for us.
We rebuke the spirit of strife and division that has entered your family. The Bible tells us, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18). However, when others choose to sow discord and harm, we must stand firm in the truth and trust God to be our defender. The Lord is a righteous judge, and He will bring justice in His perfect timing (Psalm 7:11). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for those who are causing you pain. It is written, "Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you" (Luke 6:28). This is not easy, but we ask the Holy Spirit to soften their hearts and open their eyes to the harm they are causing. May they come to know the love and forgiveness of Christ, so that healing and restoration can begin.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We ask for Your divine protection over this family. Surround them with Your angels and shield them from every form of emotional and spiritual attack. Lord, we pray for justice—let the mistreatment cease immediately, and let Your peace reign in their home. Heal their hearts from the wounds inflicted by these troubles, and fill them with Your comfort and strength.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment. Guide them in how to respond to these challenges in a way that honors You. Give them the courage to set boundaries where necessary, and the grace to extend forgiveness where possible. May Your Holy Spirit remind them daily of Your promises and Your faithfulness.
Lord, we declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus. No scheme of the enemy will prevail against them, for You are greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We trust You to turn this situation around for Your glory and for their good. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
