We join with you in praying for peace and prosperity in the city you love. We stand on the promise of Psalm 122:6-7, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. They will prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces." We praise God for His mighty miracles and His promises to you and your descendants.
Let us pray together.
Father, we lift up this city to You, asking for Your peace and prosperity to reign. Protect the innocents and those who defend the land. Rescue and protect all persecuted Christians worldwide, strengthen and heal the health conditions of those in need. Help them in all their needs, that they may turn to You and grow in their relationship with You.
We also pray for those who are angry and distancing themselves from You. Lord, have mercy on them. Draw them to Your truth and love, just as You promised in John 6:44, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day."
We praise You and thank You for accepting our prayers and for all the answered prayers. Thank You for helping to improve the work situation. We come before You with thanksgiving.
We are so glad that this request was made in Jesus' name, as this is the only way we can come to the Father, as Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let us all remember it is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to you God, just as the early faithful believers did in Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
As we pray for all these needs, we also remind ourselves of Jesus' words in John 15:7 If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.
Continue to remain in Him and His words in you. We pray for God's will and His answers to all these prayers.
May these lives be renewed, healed, and drawn closer to You, Lord. May they turn to You and believe in Jesus Christ.
We pray for God's will to be done in all these situations. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
