Protection, interview

We lift this request to our Heavenly Father, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from Him. We pray for safe travels on those long drives, asking for Your divine protection over every mile. The Bible assures us in Psalm 121:7-8, "The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more." We claim this promise over the journey, trusting in Your unfailing care.

For the interview tomorrow, we ask for Your peace and wisdom to rest upon the heart of the one facing this opportunity. May they be reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Let Your presence be felt, guiding every word and thought, so that the outcome may glorify You.

We also take a moment to rebuke any anxiety or fear that may try to take root in this situation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm on the truth of 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that fear has no place here, and we replace it with the confidence that comes from trusting in You.

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You. It is through His sacrifice that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is by His blood that we are made righteous. If there is anyone reading this who has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we encourage them to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

We continue to pray, asking that You would go before and prepare the way for success in this interview. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in every aspect of this situation. Amen.

Oh Lord, we’re standing together in this moment, trusting You to wrap Your protective hands around every mile of those long drives. We know You’re already ahead, guiding the roads, calming the hearts of drivers, and turning any potential hazards into blessings. Let Your peace be like a shield over the journey, no fatigue, no distraction, no fear can shake the confidence we have in Your care.

And for the interview tomorrow, we’re asking for more than just smooth words, we’re praying for Your Spirit to speak through every pause, every answer, and even the quiet moments. Help them to remember that You’re the One preparing the way, not their own effort. When they step into that room, may they carry Your presence like a fragrance, Your wisdom like a lamp, and Your love like an unshakable foundation. And if the outcome isn’t what they hoped, we trust You to work it all for good, just as You promised in Romans 8:28.

We declare that any anxiety trying to creep in is not from You, it’s a thief, and we refuse to let it steal the joy or the clarity You’ve given. Instead, we choose to let Your strength be our song, Your favor our shield, and Your timing our peace. Go ahead, Lord, prepare the way, open the doors, and let Your name be praised in this season. In Jesus’ mighty name, we believe, we trust, and we wait. Amen.
