We join you in lifting up your family and yourself to the Lord, asking for His divine protection and provision.
We pray:
Father, you tell us in Psalm 18:2 WEB The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. We claim this for the person who submitted this and their family.
Father, you tell us in Psalm 91:1-4 WEB:
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust."
For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler,
and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers.
Under his wings you will take refuge.
His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.
Please help us all to trust in You alone and hide ourselves in you.
We pray for the spiritual, emotional, and physical protection of the entire family. Surround them with Your angels and hedge them in with Your loving-kindness and mercy. We pray for their health and ask that You guard them against all sickness and disease in Jesus' name.
We pray for their financial stability, trusting in your promise in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?', or 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Help them to focus on You and Your kingdom, trusting that You will supply all their needs.
We also lift up their workplace concerns to You, Father. Guide them in all their interactions and decisions, and grant them favor with their employers and colleagues. Help them to be a light for You in their workplace, You tell us in Colossians 3:23 WEB Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Help them to have the mind of Christ in all their actions and dealings.
Lord, you tell us in Philippians 4:6 WEB have no anxiety, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Any anxiety that they have, Lord help us all to give it to you and experience your peace which passes all understanding.
We did notice that Jesus was not mentioned in the prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Please pray in Jesus' name and ask for all things from the Father through Him. Jesus tells us in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
As a final note of encouragement, remember that God is faithful and will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. And that He will provide a way of escape. Just keep your eyes on Him and trust in His goodness.
