Protection from work and discernment for ### 🙏

Heavenly Father,

I come to You with a heavy heart, but I choose to trust You. You see everything that is happening in my workplace and their being 2 faced—the spoken words, the hidden intentions especially at ### and ### and the things I do not fully understand.

Lord, I lift up my department head to You. Grant her discernment and wisdom from above. Open her eyes and her heart to see the truth clearly—not through influence or persuasion, but through Your light and truth.

If there are intentions that are not aligned with fairness, humility, or service, I ask You, Lord, to gently but firmly reveal them. Let truth rise and deception fall away without me having to defend myself.

I place my position, my work, and my role into Your hands. You know my heart, my intentions, and my desire to serve with integrity. Protect me from being unjustly excluded, overlooked, or removed.

Lord, I also pray for my relationship with my department head. Restore trust, strengthen understanding, and allow mutual respect to grow. Let our working relationship be guided by peace, clarity, and fairness. May she realize what ### and ### are doing when she is not around.

Guard my heart from resentment, pride, and fear. Help me respond with humility, patience, and wisdom, knowing that You are my defender.

I surrender this situation to You, Lord. I trust that You will fight the battles I cannot fight and establish what is right in Your perfect time.

In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏

We hear your heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, as you lift up your workplace struggles and the challenges you face with hidden intentions and two-faced behaviors. It is clear you are seeking God’s wisdom and protection, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in His sovereignty over all things.

First, we must address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full"* (John 16:23-24). It is only through His sacrifice and resurrection that we have access to God’s throne of grace, and it is vital to anchor our prayers in His authority.

Now, let us lift up your workplace situation before the Lord. The Bible warns us about deception and hidden motives, for *"The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?"* (Jeremiah 17:9). Yet, God sees all and knows all, and He is the ultimate judge of truth. We pray that He would expose any unrighteousness in your workplace, not for the sake of gossip or retaliation, but for His glory and the restoration of justice. *"For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light"* (Luke 8:17).

We also pray for your department head, that the Lord would grant her wisdom and discernment. May she see with clarity, not through the lens of human influence, but through the light of God’s truth. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5). We ask that the Lord would soften her heart to recognize any deception around her and that she would lead with fairness, humility, and integrity.

For your own heart, we pray that you would remain steadfast in faith, trusting that God is your defender. It is easy to grow weary or resentful in such environments, but Scripture reminds us, *"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good"* (Romans 12:21). Guard your heart against bitterness, and instead, let the peace of Christ rule in you. *"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you are called to peace"* (Colossians 3:15).

We also encourage you to examine your own actions and motives in this situation. Are you responding with humility, patience, and grace? Are you seeking to honor God in your work, even when others do not? *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23). Let your conduct be a testimony to Christ, even in the face of adversity.

Lastly, we pray for restoration in your working relationship with your department head. May trust be rebuilt, and may mutual respect grow. But above all, may God’s will be done in this situation. If it is His plan for you to remain in this role, He will make a way. If He has something else in store, He will open the door. Trust in Him, for *"The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him"* (Psalm 28:7).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this brother/sister in Christ who is facing challenges in their workplace. Lord, You see the hidden motives, the deception, and the two-faced behaviors that are causing distress. We ask that You would expose the truth, not for the sake of harm, but for Your glory and the restoration of righteousness.

Father, grant wisdom and discernment to this department head. Open her eyes to see the truth clearly, and soften her heart to lead with integrity and fairness. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let deception fall away. Protect our brother/sister from unjust treatment, and guard their heart from resentment, pride, and fear. Fill them with Your peace, patience, and humility as they navigate this situation.

Lord, we surrender this workplace to You. We trust that You are fighting battles we cannot see, and we ask that You establish what is right in Your perfect timing. If it is Your will for them to remain in this role, make a way where there seems to be no way. If You have another plan, open the door and guide their steps.

Help them to respond with grace and wisdom, reflecting Your love even in difficult circumstances. May their conduct be a testimony to Your goodness and faithfulness. Restore trust and respect in their working relationship, and let Your peace reign in their heart.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Dear friend, we're right there with you, praying for your workplace situation. We've been thinking about how the Bible encourages us to be wise as serpents and innocent as doves (Matthew 10:16). It's a delicate balance, isn't it? We pray that the Lord would grant you wisdom to navigate this two-faced environment, and that He would give you the right words to say and the right actions to take at the right time.

We also lift up your department head to the Lord. May He grant her discernment to see clearly and make fair decisions. We pray that she would be open to the truth, and that any hidden intentions or deceptions would be revealed to her. We ask this not out of malice, but so that justice and righteousness can prevail.

For your own heart, we pray that you would remain steadfast in your integrity. We know it's tough, but remember, even Jesus faced unfair treatment. He trusted in His Father, and we pray that you would do the same. We ask the Lord to fill you with His peace, patience, and humility as you face these challenges.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
