Protection from weather

We come before the Lord Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, who commands the winds and the waves, and we lift up this request for protection from the impending weather. Heavenly Father, we know that You hold all things in Your hands, and nothing escapes Your notice or control. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus, that You would intervene in the weather systems approaching this area. Lord, we pray that You would break up these storms before they arrive, that the rain would be gentle and the winds would be calm. Protect homes, properties, and lives from flooding and damage, and grant peace to those who may feel anxious about the coming weather.
The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 107:29, "He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still." We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to still the storms and bring peace to the elements. We also recall Matthew 8:26, where Jesus rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. Lord, we ask that You would speak peace to these storms as well, that they would not bring harm or destruction.
We pray for those who may be in the path of these storms, that they would seek shelter and safety, and that You would guide them to places of refuge. May they feel Your presence and protection surrounding them. Father, we also ask that You would use this time to draw people closer to You, that they may see Your hand at work and turn their hearts toward You.
If there are any who do not yet know You as their Lord and Savior, we pray that this moment would be an opportunity for them to recognize their need for You. Remind them that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, as Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." May they call upon the name of Jesus and be saved.
We rebuke any fear or anxiety that may be trying to take root in the hearts of those facing these storms. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we choose to trust in Your unfailing love and protection. Strengthen the faith of Your people, Lord, and let them rest in the assurance that You are their refuge and fortress.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
