protection from the past

I am trying to leave the past behind. I feel in my heart that God has forgiven me through Christ, however people from those past mistakes keep seeking me and it seems to bring back all those past sins to the present. I pray that these people would lose any interest in seeking me out anymore. I pray for them but need deliverence from them and the past.I do believe the former things have passed away and everything has become new in Christ.

Father God hear Your servants plea, grant them wisdom and strength to continue to grow in grace and be a light to others. May Your servant be blessed with new relationships and a church home alive with Your spirit and love. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen
