Protection From Stalking Malicious People

There are malicious people stalking and following me then, spreading lies and negative information about me everywhere I go. Please pray for my safety and protection in reference. In Jesus name thank you.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting your situation to the Lord who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The actions of these individuals are deeply troubling, for Scripture commands us to love our neighbors and speak truth in love, not to spread lies or engage in malicious behavior. Proverbs 6:16-19 warns us, "There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers." The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

We rebuke the spirit of deception, slander, and harassment that is at work against you in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your shield and your fortress; you need not fear the terror by night nor the arrow that flies by day (Psalm 91:1-6). We pray that God would expose the schemes of the wicked and bring their plans to nothing, for the Lord frustrates the ways of the wicked (Psalm 146:9).

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, asking for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Lord, You are a God who sees and knows all things, nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring justice where there has been injustice. Surround them with Your holy angels to guard and protect them from all harm and evil. Give them wisdom and discernment to navigate this trial, and fill their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray for those who are persecuting them. Lord, soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth. If they do not know You, we ask that You would draw them to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. If they are believers, convict them of their sin and lead them to turn away from this wickedness. Your Word tells us to bless those who persecute us and not to repay evil for evil (Romans 12:14, 17). Help them to walk in love and forgiveness, even as You have forgiven us.

Lord, we ask that You would restore their reputation and bring truth to light. Let Your light shine in the darkness and expose the lies that have been spread. Give them favor with those around them, and let their integrity and godly character speak louder than the slander of their enemies. Strengthen them in their faith, reminding them that You are their vindicator and that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).

We declare Psalm 37:5-6 over their life: "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun." May they find their strength and hope in You alone, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

In the powerful name of Jesus, we stand against every assignment of the enemy and declare that no plot, no lie, and no scheme will prosper against them. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer. Amen.

That kind of fear is real, and it is exhausting. While we pray with you for God’s protection, we also want to encourage you to take a few practical steps for your safety. If you have not already, please begin documenting every incident, dates, times, what happened, and any witnesses. This record can be vital if you decide to report the stalking to the police. They can help assess the risk and advise you on next steps, such as a protective order. You do not have to handle this alone, and involving authorities is not a failure of faith; it is one way God often provides safety.

We also want to gently remind you that in frightening times, it is natural to withdraw, but isolation can make the weight heavier. Reach out to a trusted friend, family member, or your pastor. Let someone know what you are facing so they can walk with you, pray with you, and be an extra set of eyes. Being surrounded by caring people helps you remember you are not alone, and that can steady your heart.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this dear person who feels hounded and targeted. You see the lies being spread and the fear that grips their heart. We ask for Your protective hand to be a shield around them, physically, emotionally, and in their reputation. Give them wisdom and courage to take the right steps. Expose any deceit and bring truth to light. Most of all, help them sense Your presence as their strong tower, a safe refuge in this storm. We pray this in Your powerful name, Jesus. Amen.

The tooth of time devours all lies. Falsehoods are soon cut down, and they wither as the green herb. Truth never dies; it dates its origin from the immortals. These malicious tongues that follow you shall be silenced by the decay which awaits every refuge of lies. Their words may wound for a season, but their own mouths shall be stopped when the Lord arises to plead your cause.

You need an infinite Friend to keep you in safety against all the machinations of your adversaries. Our safety lies in our Savior, God our Savior. We have a God who is able and is as wise as He is able to keep us from falling. He who travels on the King's highway is under the King's protection; but he who takes to byroads must protect himself. Walk in simple faith and in the path of uprightness, and His angels shall keep charge over you. There is nothing between me and instant destruction save Christ? But He is enough. Christ stands between the living and the dead, and no curse can pass His censer of intercession.

Cast all your care upon Him, for your only hope of rest lies in believing your God. Let not your heart be distracted by the whispers of the adversary. The promise is whole and safe: He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust. His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. The refuge of the proud shall be swept away, but the soul that leans upon Jesus abides in an impregnable fortress. He shall present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, and until that day, neither stake nor stalker shall pluck you from His hand.

You ask prayer for safety from those who stalk and spread lies against you. Remember what the Apostle says: "If God be for us, who can be against us?" The very things that seem distressing, the cross, the scourges, the bonds, these are what He used to set the world aright and bring liberty and salvation. In the same way, He is able to turn your present sufferings into glory and renown for you. Do not fear what malicious people do; they may slander you to others, but God alone will demand the account. The slanderer has only injured himself, incurring evil report with God, while you, if you remain conscious of no evil, will suffer nothing truly dreadful. Those who see the true light are in safety, and if you do not separate yourself from Christ, you will remain in His pasture, secure, and none shall thrust you out. Do not be troubled by their lies, nor return evil for evil; do not publish their deeds or fall into tattling, lest you also be called to account for light talking. Instead, trust that these trials are permitted for your humble-mindedness and eternal good. Commit yourself to the steersman, Christ, and you will sail in safety though the sea seems boundless.

The weight of what you are facing is real, and the cruelty of lies spreading in your wake is a deep affliction. Stalking and malicious whispers can make you feel like you have no hiding place. Yet there is a common snare in times like these. We are often tempted to scramble for a refuge of our own making. We try to craft an agreement with safety itself, scheming to control our reputation, thinking that if we can just manage the narrative or confront the deceivers, the trouble will pass us by. The Word calls these strategies a refuge of lies. Any treaty we make with our own fears will be swept away like chaff before a hailstorm. The real question is not simply “How can I stop these liars?” but “In whom am I truly taking refuge?”

The enemy is the father of lies, and he works through people who forge falsehoods against the innocent. I think of how the friends of Job, sitting in the ashes with him, became physicians of no value, mouthing empty and accusing words. Their lies did not change the truth of Job’s standing before God, but they added to his torment. And so it is here. There is a particular madness in listening to these forged lies, letting them play on repeat in your mind until they rob you of peace. The proud may spread a story as thick as grease, but your soul must decide whose report you are going to believe. The safest place is not found in answering every accusation or trying to untangle every rumor. It is found in doing what the psalmist did when surrounded by forgers of lies: “I will keep Your word.” True wisdom is often to let God open His own lips against the wicked while you hold your peace.

Do not be lured into thinking that a person or a human scheme can provide the ultimate protection you crave. A horse is prepared for the day of battle, but safety belongs to the Lord. Unless He guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. Many people today are chasing a fantasy, thinking the life of the flesh or their own cleverness can build a fortress impenetrable to pain. It cannot. But that does not leave you defenseless. Abiding in Christ is the place of glorious safety. It is the place where, even when trouble crashes against you like a wave, you are not swept away. You can lie down and rest, not because the enemies have vanished, but because the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape His justice.

The world clamors for peace and safety, and it will always be just out of reach for those who refuse to bow to its methods. Sudden destruction falls on every refuge built on lies. But for you who are His, the day does not need to overtake you like a thief. You have a good name that no riches can buy and no slander can permanently tarnish, because your name is written in the Lamb’s book of life. Loving favor with God is better than silver and gold. Though you walk through a season where you feel stalked and your reputation is assaulted, you are not walking in the darkness where those lies ultimately live. You are kept by the One who speaks the final word. May He be a wall of fire around you, and may you know the deep rest that comes from hiding yourself not in an earthly agreement, but in the shadow of the Almighty.
