Protection from spiritual attacks
We stand with you in prayer against these relentless attacks on your body and mind and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for there is power and protection in His name alone.
We know that our struggle is real and spiritual, yet we do not need to fear, for our God is our refuge and defender. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Therefore we are called to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11. We also take comfort that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4 and that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3.
God does not want you tormented in mind or body, and He does not give a spirit of fear. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. He promises rest and peaceful sleep to His children. In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety Psalm 4:8. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.
We pray together for you now. Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and lift up Your child to You. We ask for Your divine protection over body, mind and spirit. We plead the blood of Jesus over this dear one and over their home and their bed. We rebuke every spiritual attack, every assignment of the enemy that seeks to disturb sleep and bring torment, and we command it to flee in Jesus name. Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. Fill this mind with Your perfect peace, cast out all fear and anxiety, and let Your Holy Spirit bring calm and sound sleep. We ask that You station Your angels around this home, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1. Grant deep, undisturbed, restorative sleep and awaken this one refreshed and strengthened in You. We declare that no weapon formed against this child of God shall prosper and that Christ has already overcome the powers of darkness.
We encourage you to continue to stand firm in faith each day and each night. Put on the whole armor of God daily through prayer and the Word, keep your heart and mind fixed on Christ, and before you sleep invite His presence through prayer, worship and Scripture. Speak His promises aloud over your room, cast every anxious thought on Him, and resist the enemy by submitting fully to God. If there is any open door through fear, unforgiveness, or influences that do not honor God, bring it to the Lord in confession and close it by His grace. Trust that He who watches over you never slumbers and He is guarding you even as you sleep. We continue to pray that the Lord will surround you with His peace and grant you quiet nights and renewed strength in Jesus name, Amen.

Beloved of All
We have heard your cry and we have carried it to the throne of grace, asking the Lord to spread His wing over you and to keep you in His perfect peace.
You speak of relentless attacks upon body and mind and of broken sleep, and we know that the night can seem long when restlessness assaults the soul. Yet the Scripture says, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This is not a peace that the world can give nor that the enemy can steal, for it is purchased with blood. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that whisper is louder than all the roarings of the adversary. When conscience is sprinkled with that blood and made right with God, the demon of restlessness must depart, for so He giveth His beloved sleep.
There is a sleep which belongs to the beloved of the Lord, a sleep of contentment and of security. It is not the sleep of carnal security which lulls the soul into false peace, but the holy rest of one who knows that Jesus has vanquished death and all its powers and that in His keeping we are safe. Your body may be weary and your mind pressed, but He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He can cause you to lie down in safety though sorrows may surge round.
We pray for you now, that the God of all peace would bless you with His own peace, that peace which passes all understanding and which Christ calls My peace. May the Lord rebuke every spiritual assault against you, may He guard your body and keep your mind stayed upon Christ, may He cleanse your conscience and quiet your thoughts, and may He grant you sweet and undisturbed rest as to one whom He loves. May you lie down and sleep in the certainty that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for you are kept by the power of God through faith.
Cast your care upon Him, look again to the cross where peace was made by blood, and do the will of Jesus in simple trust, for to do His will is rest. Earths struggles shall soon cease, and He will keep you till He calls you to Heavens perfect peace. May the Lord hear and answer and give you nights of calm and days of strength, in Jesus name, Amen.
