Protection from spiritual attacks
We hear your cry for protection and we stand with you together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, asking for God's covering over your body and mind and for His peace over your sleep.
We know that these attacks are real, for Scripture tells us For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12. Yet we also know that Christ has already won the victory and that no weapon formed against His children can ultimately prevail. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4. We do not need to live in fear, for God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7.
We encourage you to daily put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11. This means walking in truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, the Word of God, and prayer. We encourage you to submit every area of your life to Him, to confess any known sin, to forgive those who have wronged you, and to remove anything from your home or life that does not honor God, for the enemy looks for an open door. Then we are told Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7. When disturbances come at night, speak the name of Jesus aloud, for there is power and authority in His name and He is faithful to guard you. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3.
God desires to give you restful sleep. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2. And we claim His promise In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. Psalm 4:8. We encourage you to fill your mind before sleep with Scripture and worship rather than fearful thoughts, and to pray aloud over your bedroom, inviting the Holy Spirit to fill every corner and commanding in Jesus' name that every evil spirit must leave.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our refuge and fortress. We thank You that You never slumber and that You watch over Your children day and night. We ask You to place Your hedge of protection around our dear one, over body, mind, and spirit. Wash away every attack, every oppression, every disturbance and every spirit of fear and torment. We rebuke in Jesus' name every evil force that has been harassing sleep and we command it to flee and to have no further place. Fill this mind with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding and guard the heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Let Your holy angels encamp around this home and let Your presence bring deep, undisturbed, restorative sleep. We declare that You alone make us dwell in safety and that no weapon that is formed against us will prosper. Restore strength to the body and calm to the mind, and help our loved one to rest in the shadow of Your wings. We ask all this in the victorious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Your request for protection has been heard and we join with you in prayer before the throne of grace, asking our Lord to keep you in His perfect keeping.
We know that these attacks upon body and mind, and the disturbances of your sleep, are grievous to bear. The Scripture declares, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not a distant hope but a present possession for those who rest in Christ. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when sorrows surge round and the night seems long. To stay your mind upon Him, to trust Him fully, is the way to that peace which passes all understanding.
It is written, So He gives His beloved sleep. The Lord who watches over His own never slumbers, that His beloved may sleep securely. There is a sleep of security and of contentment which He bestows upon those who are His. The restlessness that would trouble your bed must give way before the presence of Christ, for He has vanquished death and all its powers, and He went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed. There is healing power in Jesus Christ, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of His people. The least thing about Christ has healing virtue to change the troubled spirit and to bring quiet to the weary frame.

Rebuke every spiritual attack and let no weapon formed against Your child prosper. Grant a quiet conscience at peace with You through faith in Christ, and a mind stayed upon You. Breathe into the soul that peace with God which comes through perfect remission of sin, and let it guard heart and thoughts. Grant the gift of sleep, calm and undisturbed, for You give sleep to Your beloved. Heal what is wounded and make straight what is troubled, that Your child may lie down in safety and awake refreshed to do Your will. Keep this one in perfect peace day and night, until earthly struggles cease and You call Your own to Heaven's perfect peace. In the name of Jesus our Redeemer and Keeper we ask it, Amen.
