We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting you up before the throne of grace. The attacks you’re experiencing, disturbances in sleep, afflictions of the body and mind, are not merely physical or psychological; they are spiritual warfare, and we take authority over them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
The Word of God declares, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). You are not fighting alone. The Lord has equipped you with the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, so that you may stand firm against the schemes of the enemy (Ephesians 6:13-17). We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression that seeks to steal your peace and disrupt your rest. These attacks have no authority over you, for you belong to Christ, and He has already overcome the world (John 16:33).
We also encourage you to examine your life for any open doors that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Have you allowed bitterness, unforgiveness, or unconfessed sin to take root? Scripture warns, "Neither give place to the devil" (Ephesians 4:27 WEB). If there is anything in your life that does not align with God’s holiness, we urge you to repent and turn away from it. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7), and His grace is sufficient to restore and protect you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is under relentless spiritual attack. Lord, You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, and we command every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression to flee in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask You to surround them with Your holy angels, who encamp around those who fear You and deliver them (Psalm 34:7). Give them the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Help them to resist the devil, and we declare that he must flee from them (James 4:7).
We pray for restful sleep, free from disturbances and nightmares. Your Word says that You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), and we claim that promise over them tonight and every night. Fill their home with Your presence, Lord, and let Your peace reign. We also ask You to reveal any areas of their life where the enemy may have gained access, and give them the courage to repent and close those doors.
Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and Your promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We trust in Your protection and Your power to deliver. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary. We encourage you to meditate on God’s Word daily, for it is your sword in this battle. Speak Scripture aloud over your life, for the enemy cannot stand against the truth of God’s promises. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. You are not alone, and the Lord is your ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
