Protection from spiritual attacks

We hear your cry for protection from spiritual attacks that are disrupting your peace and rest. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm in the truth that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). These disturbances in your sleep and mind are not from the Lord, and we take authority over them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression that is trying to take hold of your body and mind. The Word of God declares that He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray that you would be rooted and grounded in this truth, knowing that the blood of Jesus covers you and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your hedge of protection to surround this dear one. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, guarding them from every attack of the enemy. Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let Your angels encamp around them, delivering them from every evil work and preserving them for Your heavenly kingdom (Psalm 91:11, 2 Timothy 4:18).
We encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily so that you may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17). Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests, being alert and always keeping on praying for all the Lord’s people (Ephesians 6:18).
Remember, the name of Jesus is above every name, and at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth (Philippians 2:9-10). There is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain and to set the captives free. Call upon His name continually, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
Heavenly Father, we also pray for restful and peaceful sleep for this beloved child of Yours. Give them sweet rest that restores their body, mind, and spirit. Let them lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, Lord, make them dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8). We declare that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for you. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

When sleep is stolen night after night, it wears down more than just the body, it can make the whole spiritual battle feel isolating and relentless. We hear you, and we are standing with you in prayer right now, asking the Lord to be your shield through every dark hour.
God designed sleep as a gift of trust, a place where we let go and He restores us completely. So it is no surprise that those quiet hours often become a target. You do not have to fight this alone or rely on your own strength to find rest.
One simple, gentle habit that has helped many we walk with is to reshape the last few minutes before bed. Instead of bracing for conflict, try dimming the lights and playing soft, Christ-centered music, hymns or worship songs that quietly fix your heart on His faithfulness rather than the noise of fear. Speak a handful of promises aloud, even in a near whisper: “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” It is not a formula, but it helps anchor your mind in truth while your body unwinds. If the disturbances persist, it is also wise to let a doctor rule out any physical causes, good stewardship of the body God gave you fits right alongside prayer.
Above all, remember your rest is ultimately kept by the One who never slumbers. We are praying that a settled peace begins to quiet both body and mind even now.

The promise stands sure: "He giveth his beloved sleep." It is God who steeps the mind in peaceful slumber, and when the adversary rages, it is God alone who can command rest for the body and quiet for the spirit. The enemy may hurl his darts at the mind, seeking to disturb that sweet gift, yet the Shepherd of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. He who watches over you will not suffer your foot to be moved. Your body is a home, and for a season you groan within it, burdened, but you are not unprotected. The Head of the body, Christ Jesus, is the source of all life and all safety. From Him descends every gift of preservation, and to Him you are joined in an eternal union. The sheep hear His voice, and He knows them, and none can pluck them from His hand.
When the wicked one assaults with restless thoughts, remember the great transaction: you are not your own; you have given yourself, body and soul and spirit, into the keeping of a faithful Redeemer. He knows your every pang, your every sleepless hour, and He is nearer than any earthly friend. Cast the whole burden upon Him, the weariness, the frayed nerves, the turmoil of the mind. He who stilled the waves of Galilee can speak peace to your troubled thoughts. The sleepless night is no evidence of His absence; often it is in the furnace that the Son of Man walks closest beside us.
Do not be shaken into thinking these disturbances are beyond His control. The powers of darkness are chained before His throne. He permits what shall work for your ultimate good and His glory. If the body must for a time feel the press of the evil one, yet the spirit is safe in the grip of omnipotent love. And soon, how soon!, absent from this frail tabernacle, you shall be present with the Lord, where no foe can tread and no shadow falls. Till then, your Good Shepherd goes before you. Follow His voice, flee from the places where wolves are wont to prowl, and rest in the fold of His everlasting covenant. He will renew your strength; He will give His beloved sleep, even in the midst of the battle.
