We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for protection from spiritual attacks that are disrupting sleep and peace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the powers of darkness. The Word declares in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." These attacks are not random, they are targeted assaults from the enemy, but we do not fight alone.
First, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every lying spirit, every demonic assignment, and every attack against the mind and body to cease immediately. The blood of Jesus covers this situation, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, as Ephesians 6:13-18 instructs. Stand firm with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Prayer is not just a defense, it is an offensive weapon against the enemy. Do not grow weary in praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
Father God, we come before You now, interceding for our brother/sister under attack. We ask that You surround them with Your holy angels, dispatching warrior angels to stand guard over their home, their mind, and their body. Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over every area of their life, spirit, soul, and body. We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Strengthen them in their inner man, that they may be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:16-17). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest securely in Your presence.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment. If there are areas of sin, unforgiveness, or unrepented iniquity that may be giving the enemy a foothold, we ask that You reveal them. The enemy seeks to exploit any opening, but we know that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We break every generational curse, every word spoken against them in judgment, and every ungodly soul tie in the name of Jesus. We cancel every assignment of the enemy and declare that they are hidden in Christ, covered by His righteousness.
Lord, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit afresh, that they may walk in the authority You have given them as a child of God. Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let them rise up in faith, knowing that the enemy is already defeated. We declare that their sleep will be sweet, their mind will be clear, and their body will be strengthened in Jesus’ name.
Finally, we encourage you to remain in fellowship with other believers. The enemy seeks to isolate, but iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). Surround yourself with godly men and women who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. Do not face this battle alone, lean on the body of Christ and trust in His promises.
We stand with you in faith, believing that God will bring complete victory and restoration. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for you. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). Amen.
