We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for protection from spiritual attacks that are afflicting both body and mind. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm on the promise that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). These disturbances in sleep and the relentless assaults are not of God, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2) and offers peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Word declares that we have authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We take up the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, so that we may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11-17). No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who has overcome the world. We ask for Your divine protection over this dear one who is under attack. Lord, surround them with Your angels, as You command them to encamp around those who fear You (Psalm 34:7). Shield their mind from the lies and deceptions of the enemy, and let Your peace guard their heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We break every assignment of the enemy against their sleep, their body, and their mind, and we declare that they will rest in the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1).
Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over every area of their life. Let no evil come near their dwelling, and let Your light expose and drive out every darkness (John 1:5). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and stand firm against every attack.
We also encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word. The enemy seeks to wear you down, but resist him, firm in your faith (1 Peter 5:9). Speak the Word of God over your life, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. Do not isolate yourself, for where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).
Remember, the battle belongs to the Lord. You are not fighting alone. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still and trust in Him (Exodus 14:14). Stand firm, dear one, and let the peace of God rule in your heart. You are more than a conqueror through Him who loves you (Romans 8:37).
