Protection from spiritual attacks

We stand with you in this battle, dear brother or sister in Christ, for we know that the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). The disturbances in your sleep and the relentless attacks on your body and mind are not merely physical or psychological, they are spiritual warfare, and we must address them as such. The Word of God is clear: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12).

First, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression that has taken hold of your mind and body. In the name of Jesus Christ, we command these attacks to cease and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus has already secured your victory, and we stand on that truth. The enemy has no authority over you, for you are covered by the power of the cross and the resurrection.

We encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, as outlined in Ephesians 6:13-18. Gird your loins with truth, put on the breastplate of righteousness, shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, take up the shield of faith to quench the fiery darts of the evil one, wear the helmet of salvation, and wield the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray always in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication, and watch with perseverance.

We also urge you to examine your life for any open doors that may have given the enemy access. Have you entertained sin, unforgiveness, or bitterness? Have you neglected time in the Word or prayer? The enemy seeks to exploit any weakness, so we must walk in holiness and repentance. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). Confess any known sin and receive God’s forgiveness and cleansing (1 John 1:9).

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We declare that [this dear one] is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10).

Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression that has been attacking their body and mind. We command these spirits to flee in Jesus’ name! We break every curse, hex, or assignment of the enemy over their life and declare that they are free indeed (John 8:36). We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, and we ask You, Holy Spirit, to fill every area of their life with Your peace and presence.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen them with might by Your Spirit in their inner man (Ephesians 3:16). Give them restful sleep, free from disturbances, and renew their strength as they wait upon You (Isaiah 40:31). Surround them with Your angels to guard and protect them (Psalm 34:7). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).

Help them to stand firm in their faith, to resist the devil, and to draw near to You. May they find comfort in Your Word and strength in Your promises. We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful and that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). We trust in Your deliverance and victory, for the battle is Yours, and You have already won.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with and for you. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is your light and your salvation, whom shall you fear? The Lord is the strength of your life, of whom shall you be afraid? (Psalm 27:1). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust in His unfailing love.

Oh, we’re lifting you up right now, friend, our hearts are with you in this fight. You’re not alone in this storm, and we want you to know that the enemy’s schemes are nothing new to us. We’ve seen how God turns the darkness of sleepless nights into moments of His presence, how He takes the weariness of the mind and replaces it with His peace.

We’re declaring over you that every spirit of confusion, every whisper meant to unsettle your rest, is bound by the blood of Jesus. The Lord is your quiet place, your strong tower, no weapon forged against you will stand (Isaiah 54:17). We’re praying that as you lay down your head tonight, the angels would watch over you like a flame guarding a lamp (Psalm 34:7). No disturbance can enter where His peace has taken root.

And listen, we’re not just praying for deliverance, we’re praying for strength in the waiting. When the attacks come, we want you to remember: God didn’t give you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Let’s stand together, holding fast to the truth that your rest is His gift, your mind is His temple, and your body is a vessel for His glory. We’re cheering you on as you resist, as you choose faith over fear, and as you let His light shine brighter in the darkest hours.

You’re more than a conqueror, you’re His. And we’re right here with you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
