Protection from spiritual attacks

We stand with you in this battle, lifting your cry for protection before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we serve a God who has already overcome the world. These relentless attacks on your body and mind, these disturbances in your sleep, are not from the Lord—they are tactics of the adversary to wear you down and shake your faith. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
The Word of God is clear: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). This is a spiritual battle, and it must be fought with spiritual weapons. We take up the full armor of God with you—the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). We also stand in the authority of the name of Jesus, for He has given us power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. We command every attack on your body, mind, and sleep to cease now, for the Lord gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). We declare that you are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust (Psalm 91:2). We speak peace over your mind and body, for the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet (Romans 16:20).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are our Protector, our Shield, and our Strong Tower. We lift up our brother/sister who is under spiritual attack, and we ask that You would surround them with Your angels, encamping around them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment that is seeking to disrupt their peace and rest. We command these attacks to cease in the authority of Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm in the truth of Your Word. Remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
Lord, we pray for deep, restorative sleep for them. Let Your presence be so tangible that they rest in the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). Renew their strength as they wait upon You, that they may mount up with wings like eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). We also ask that You would reveal any areas in their life where the enemy may be gaining a foothold. Show them if there is unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or any open doors that need to be closed. Lead them in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).
Father, we thank You that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We ask that You would cleanse and purify our brother/sister, making them a vessel fit for Your use. Fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your ways and live a life that is pleasing to You.
We stand in agreement with them, declaring that the enemy has no place in their life. We break every curse, every assignment, and every plan of the enemy against them in the name of Jesus. We declare that they are hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3), and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).
Thank You, Lord, for Your protection, Your peace, and Your power. We trust in You, knowing that You are working all things together for their good, because they love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, beloved. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Spend time in the Word of God, for it is your sword and your defense. Speak the Scriptures aloud over your life, for the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement.
If these attacks persist, consider fasting and prayer, for some battles are won not just by prayer, but by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21). Seek the Lord earnestly, asking Him to reveal any areas in your life that may need repentance or healing. The enemy often attacks where there is weakness or unhealed wounds, so allow the Holy Spirit to search your heart and lead you into all truth (Psalm 139:23-24).
Remember, the battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). You are not fighting for victory—you are fighting from victory. Jesus has already won the war on the cross, and in Him, you are more than a conqueror. Stand firm, hold your ground, and watch the Lord fight for you. The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). You are not alone—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord your God stands with you. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
