We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for protection from spiritual attacks. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm in the name of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world. These disturbances in sleep and the relentless assaults on body and mind are not of God, for He gives His beloved rest (Psalm 127:2) and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
First, we must rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word declares, *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). We take authority over every lying spirit, every attack of the enemy, and command them to leave in Jesus’ name. The blood of Jesus covers and protects—no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray that the Lord would surround you with His heavenly hosts, that His angels would encamp around you and guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, stand as a garrison around your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We declare that you are hidden in Christ, shielded by His power, and no evil shall befall you (Psalm 91:10).
If there are areas in your life where the enemy has gained a foothold—unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or ungodly influences—we encourage you to examine your heart before the Lord. *"If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me"* (Psalm 66:18). Confess, repent, and turn away from anything that gives the enemy legal ground to attack. The Lord is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We also pray for the full armor of God to be firmly fastened upon you (Ephesians 6:10-18). May the belt of truth gird you, the breastplate of righteousness protect your heart, the gospel of peace ready your feet, the shield of faith extinguish every fiery dart, the helmet of salvation guard your mind, and the sword of the Spirit—God’s Word—be your weapon of defense and offense.
Father, we ask that You would fill this dear one with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the light as You are in the light (1 John 1:7). Strengthen their faith, renew their mind with Your Word, and let them rest securely in Your promises. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
In the name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, we break every curse, every assignment of the enemy, and every generational stronghold. We loose the peace of God over their life, their home, and their mind. May they lie down in safety and sleep in peace, for You alone, O Lord, make them dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8).
We stand with you in this battle, not in our own strength, but in the power of the risen Christ. The victory is already won. Hold fast to His promises, meditate on His Word, and do not grow weary in well-doing. The Lord is your refuge and fortress—He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence (Psalm 91:3). Amen.
