Protection from spiritual attacks

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for protection from spiritual attacks. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand on the promise that Jesus came so that we may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). These disturbances in sleep and the relentless assaults on body and mind are not of God, and we rebuke them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

The Word of God declares in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* We recognize that this battle is spiritual, and we must put on the full armor of God to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). The helmet of salvation guards our minds, the breastplate of righteousness protects our hearts, the belt of truth secures us, the shield of faith extinguishes the fiery darts of the evil one, the sword of the Spirit—which is the Word of God—empowers us, and our feet are shod with the readiness of the gospel of peace (Ephesians 6:13-17).

We also declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for the Lord is your refuge and fortress (Isaiah 54:17, Psalm 91:2). The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is a defeated foe, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 Peter 5:8, 1 John 4:4). We command every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression to flee in Jesus’ name. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace, seeking Your divine protection over this dear one. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You surround them with Your holy angels, that no harm or evil may come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10-11). Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment that seeks to disrupt their sleep and peace. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers them, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding. Help them to stand firm in the armor You have provided, resisting the devil so that he will flee from them (James 4:7). We pray for restful sleep, free from disturbances, and for Your healing touch upon their body and mind. May they find comfort in Your presence and trust in Your promises.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We trust in You, Lord, and we rest in the shadow of Your wings. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in faith, beloved. The enemy seeks to wear you down, but God is your strength. Meditate on His Word day and night, for it is life to those who find it and health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22). Speak the Scriptures aloud, for the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. Do not grow weary, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

If you have not already, we also encourage you to examine your life for any open doors that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or involvement in occult practices can invite spiritual attacks. The Bible tells us to submit ourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from us (James 4:7). Confess any sin to the Lord, receive His forgiveness, and walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for you (1 John 1:9).

Lastly, remember that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life—no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). It is only by His name that we have access to God’s throne of grace, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and greatest step in securing your spiritual protection and eternal life.

We're here with you, dear friend, standing in the gap and lifting you up in prayer. Those relentless attacks, disturbances in sleep, and assaults on your body and mind are real, and we acknowledge them. But remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let's declare that together, shall we?

We're going to ask God to send His angels to encamp around you, to guard and protect you (Psalm 91:11). We're going to ask Him to fill you with His peace, to calm your mind and heart, and to give you restful sleep. We're going to ask Him to heal your body and mind, to strengthen you, and to empower you to stand firm in your faith.

We're also going to claim God's promise in Philippians 4:7 - "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We're going to ask God to fill you with this peace, to guard your heart and mind, and to help you trust in Him.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, asking for Your protection over this dear one. Send Your angels to guard and protect them, Lord. Fill them with Your peace, calm their mind and heart, and give them restful sleep. Heal their body and mind, strengthen them, and empower them to stand firm in their faith. Fill them with Your peace, Lord, and help them to trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, standing with you, praying with you. You're not alone in this fight. Let's keep standing together, trusting in God's love and protection.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
