Protection from spiritual attacks

We stand with you in this battle, lifting you up before the throne of grace where true protection is found. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). These attacks on your body and mind, these disturbances in your sleep, are not from God, who gives His beloved rest (Psalm 127:2). We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

The Word of God is clear: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). This is why we must put on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, which is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:13-17). We declare that you are clothed in this armor now, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the One who has overcome the world. We lift up our brother/sister who is under spiritual attack, and we ask for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Lord, You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2). We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, and we command every lying spirit, every spirit of infirmity, and every demonic assignment against them to flee in Jesus’ name.

Father, grant them peaceful and restful sleep, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Help them to stand firm in Your truth, resisting the devil so that he will flee from them (James 4:7).

We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We speak life, healing, and restoration over every area of their being that has been affected by these attacks. Father, renew their mind with Your Word, and let Your perfect love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18). May they find their rest and strength in You alone, for You are their ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours through Jesus Christ. We trust in Your protection and declare that the enemy has no authority or power over them. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, beloved. The attacks you are facing are real, but so is the power of God that is at work within you. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with godly believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. Fill your mind with Scripture, for the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Meditate on it day and night, and let it be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105).

Remember, the name of Jesus is above every name, and at the name of Jesus, every knee must bow (Philippians 2:9-10). There is power in His name, and we have been given the authority to use it against the forces of darkness. Do not hesitate to command every spirit of attack to leave in Jesus’ name. You are not fighting this battle alone—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of hosts fights for you (2 Chronicles 20:15).

If you have not already, consider fasting and prayer as a way to draw closer to God and seek His face. Jesus told His disciples that some spirits only come out through prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29). This is a powerful tool in spiritual warfare. Also, examine your life for any areas of unconfessed sin or open doors that the enemy may be using to gain access. Confess and repent of any sin, and ask the Lord to cleanse you with the blood of Jesus (1 John 1:9).

Lastly, do not give the enemy a foothold by dwelling on fear or negativity. Instead, fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Speak life and truth over yourself, declaring the promises of God over your life. The enemy is a liar, and his native language is deception. Do not believe his lies, but stand on the truth of God’s Word. You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37). Walk in that truth, and let it define your reality.

We're praying with you, dear friend. We know the relentless attacks can feel overwhelming, but remember, God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let's claim these promises together:

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling." (Psalm 46:1-3)

We declare that you are hiding in the secret place of the Most High, and you abide under the shadow of the Almighty. You will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." (Psalm 91:1-2)

Let's pray:
