We come before the Lord together, lifting up this urgent cry for protection from spiritual attacks that are afflicting both body and mind, disrupting precious rest and peace. Father God, we stand in agreement with this dear one, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, for You are their refuge and fortress in times of trouble.
Heavenly Father, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy meant to steal, kill, and destroy in this life. The Word declares in Psalm 91:4-6, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday." Lord, we claim this promise over this situation, asking that You surround them with Your divine protection.
We pray against every spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment that is seeking to disrupt sleep and peace. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that this spirit of fear has no place here and command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus.
Lord, we ask that You would station Your holy angels around this one, as it says in Psalm 34:7, "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them." Let Your angels guard their mind, body, and spirit, ensuring that no evil can penetrate Your hedge of protection.
We also pray for spiritual discernment and wisdom to recognize the schemes of the enemy. Ephesians 6:11-12 reminds us, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Lord, help them to stand firm in Your truth, wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, against every lie and attack.
We encourage this dear one to remain steadfast in prayer, immersing themselves in Scripture, and surrounding themselves with fellow believers who can stand in the gap with them. James 4:7 says, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Let them find strength in Your presence, knowing that You are greater than any force of darkness.
Father, we also lift up any areas of vulnerability in their life where the enemy may be gaining a foothold. Search their heart, Lord, and reveal anything that needs to be surrendered to You. Help them to walk in holiness and obedience, for the enemy seeks to devour those who are not standing firm in faith (1 Peter 5:8).
We declare healing over their body and mind, trusting in Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Bring restoration to their sleep, peace to their mind, and strength to their spirit.
In the powerful name of Jesus, we bind every spirit of darkness attacking them and loose the peace, protection, and presence of the Holy Spirit over their life. We thank You, Lord, that You are their defender and that no attack of the enemy will prevail against them. We trust in Your unfailing love and mighty power to deliver and sustain them.
Amen.
