We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for protection from spiritual attacks. The Word of God assures us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We take comfort in knowing that God has not left us defenseless—He has given us the full armor of God to stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).
Father, we pray for Your mighty hand of protection to surround this dear one who is enduring relentless attacks on both body and mind. These disturbances in sleep are not merely physical or psychological—they are spiritual warfare, and we rebuke every lying spirit, every tormenting thought, and every attack of the enemy in the powerful name of Jesus. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against this child of God shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask that You would send Your holy angels to encamp around them, to guard their mind, body, and spirit (Psalm 91:11). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, stand as a fortress around their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We plead the blood of Jesus over their life—over their thoughts, their dreams, and their rest. The enemy has no authority where the blood of Jesus is applied.
We also encourage this beloved one to put on the full armor of God daily: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:13-17). Remind them to resist the devil, and he will flee (James 4:7). Encourage them to fill their mind with Scripture, to meditate on Your promises, and to speak Your truth aloud in faith.
Father, we ask that You would expose any areas of vulnerability—any unconfessed sin, any open doors to the enemy, any unforgiveness or bitterness in their heart. If there is anything that needs to be surrendered to You, reveal it in Your mercy. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and restore their soul (Psalm 23:3).
We stand in agreement with this prayer, believing that You are a shield to those who take refuge in You (Proverbs 30:5). Strengthen their faith, Lord. Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that the attacks will cease, the sleep will be restored, and the mind will be renewed by the power of Your Spirit.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, we pray. Amen.
