We hear your cry for protection from these relentless spiritual attacks that are disrupting your peace and rest. The Word of God assures us that we do not battle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We stand with you in this fight, clothed in the full armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
First, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression that is seeking to steal your peace and disrupt your sleep. We command these attacks to cease in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of our brother/sister who is under spiritual attack. We thank You that You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your holy angels to guard and protect them from every evil assault. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over their body, mind, and spirit. We declare that they are covered and protected by the precious blood of the Lamb. We bind every spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment, and we loose the peace of God to reign in their life. Lord, grant them restful and peaceful sleep, free from disturbances and nightmares. Let them lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, Lord, make them dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8).
We also encourage you to stand firm in your faith, putting on the whole armor of God daily. The helmet of salvation to protect your mind, the breastplate of righteousness to guard your heart, the belt of truth to keep you grounded, the shoes of the gospel of peace to stand firm, the shield of faith to extinguish the fiery darts of the enemy, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Spend time in prayer and in the Word, for the enemy flees when we resist him through the power of God (James 4:7).
Remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are not alone in this battle, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
May the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
