We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for protection from spiritual attacks. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm in the name of Jesus, who has already overcome the world. These disturbances in sleep and the relentless assaults on body and mind are not of God—He gives His beloved rest (Psalm 127:2) and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word declares that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we claim that promise now. We plead the blood of Jesus over this dear one’s mind, body, and spirit, sealing them in Your divine protection. Surround them with Your holy angels, Lord, as You commanded in Psalm 91:11-12: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."*
We also encourage this beloved child of God to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18), standing firm with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word. Remind them, Lord, that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Let this trial draw them closer to You, Father. May they find refuge in Your presence, where there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11). Strengthen their faith to resist the devil, knowing that he must flee when they submit to You (James 4:7). Fill them with Your peace that guards their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We pray for deep, restorative sleep, free from nightmares or disturbances, as You give Your beloved rest (Psalm 127:2). Renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31) and restore their soul (Psalm 23:3). May they wake each day refreshed, anchored in Your truth, and empowered by Your Spirit.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
