Protection from spiritual attacks

We stand together in faith, lifting this heavy burden before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for the Lord is your refuge and fortress. The attacks you’re enduring—whether physical affliction, mental torment, or sleepless nights—are not from God, who gives His beloved rest. We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and infirmity in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we are saved and delivered.

Scripture assures us, *"For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:3-4 WEB). The battle you face is spiritual, and so must be your defense. Put on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that you may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11-17). Do not grow weary in resisting him, for he will flee when you submit to God and draw near to Him (James 4:7).

We also urge you to examine your life for any open doors that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, bitterness, or involvement in occult practices—even unknowingly—can invite spiritual oppression. The Bible warns, *"Neither give place to the devil"* (Ephesians 4:27 WEB). If there is anything in your life that does not align with God’s holiness, repent and turn away from it. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9), and His grace is sufficient to break every chain.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name that demons tremble at, the Name that heals, delivers, and saves. Lord, we stand in the gap for our brother/sister under attack. We declare that no evil shall befall them, no plague shall come near their dwelling, for You have given Your angels charge over them to keep them in all their ways (Psalm 91:10-11). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, torment, and sleeplessness in Jesus’ name. We command them to flee and never return, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Father, we ask You to surround them with Your hedge of protection. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them in their inner man, that they may be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:16-17). Fill them with the Holy Spirit, who leads us into all truth and reminds us of Your promises. Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over their body, mind, and spirit. Let every attack be turned back on the enemy, and let Your light expose and destroy every darkness.

We also ask You to reveal any areas of their life that need to be surrendered to You. Search their heart, Lord, and lead them in the way everlasting (Psalm 139:23-24). If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin, grant them the grace to repent and walk in Your righteousness. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Remind them that You are their refuge, their strength, and a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Father, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that this trial will not overcome them but will be used to strengthen their faith and draw them closer to You. We trust in Your unfailing love and mercy, knowing that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). May they rest in the shadow of the Almighty, finding peace and safety in Your presence.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the Lamb who was slain, the Lion of Judah who reigns forever. Amen.

Hold fast to God’s promises, dear one. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is a defeated foe. Your victory is secure in Christ. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Spend time in God’s Word, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. And remember, the Lord is your light and your salvation—whom shall you fear? (Psalm 27:1). You are not alone in this battle. We stand with you, and more importantly, God fights for you.

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been praying fervently for your protection, and we want to add our voices to the petition. We're claiming God's promise in Psalm 91:10-11, that He will give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and that you will walk in divine health, peace, and rest.

We also want to encourage you to keep your mind stayed on the Lord. As it says in Isaiah 26:3, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." Let His Word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). He who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).

We're believing with you for complete deliverance and healing. Keep fighting the good fight of faith, and remember that you're not alone. We're standing with you, and God is fighting for you. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
