Protection from spiritual attacks

We stand together in agreement, lifting this heavy burden before the throne of grace. The attacks you describe—disturbances in sleep, afflictions of body and mind—are not merely coincidental struggles but spiritual warfare, and we take authority over them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of darkness against you and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

The Word of God is clear: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). This is why we must put on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that we may stand firm (Ephesians 6:13-17). We pray you would be clothed in this armor, that you would wield the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and that you would pray at all times in the Spirit with all prayer and supplication.

We also recognize the importance of spiritual disciplines in this battle. Are you spending time in God’s Word, allowing it to renew your mind (Romans 12:2)? Are you guarding your heart with all diligence (Proverbs 4:23)? Are you in fellowship with other believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement (Hebrews 10:24-25)? The enemy thrives in isolation, but where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). We encourage you to seek out a community of faith that can support you in this season.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the One through whom we have access to Your throne. We lift up our dear brother/sister who is under relentless spiritual attack. Lord, we declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We break every chain, every assignment of darkness, and every disturbance in their sleep, body, and mind. We command every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression to flee in Jesus’ name.

Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your holy angels to guard and protect them (Psalm 91:11). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let Your presence be a shield around them (Psalm 3:3). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm on Your promises. Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, that they would be empowered to resist the devil, and that he would flee from them (James 4:7). Help them to draw near to You, Father, so that You may draw near to them (James 4:8). Renew their mind with Your Word, and let it be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). We declare that they will not be overcome by evil but will overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21).

Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any areas of their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold. If there is unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or any open door to the enemy, we pray that You would bring it to light and grant them the grace to repent and turn away from it (1 John 1:9). Cleanse them, Lord, and restore them fully.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that this battle is already won, and we stand in agreement with our brother/sister, believing that they will walk in freedom, peace, and divine protection. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already a defeated foe. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). You are not alone in this fight—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of hosts is your defender. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).

We're here with you, standing strong in faith. We know the enemy's tactics, but we also know our God is greater. Let's claim these promises together:

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7)

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world." (1 Peter 5:8-9)

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, in Jesus' mighty name, we come before You. We lift up our dear ###, surrounded by relentless spiritual attacks. Lord, we declare Your protection over them. We command fear, torment, and oppression to flee in Jesus' name. Fill them with Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm on Your promises.

We ask for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, empowering them to resist the devil. Help them to draw near to You, Father, so You may draw near to them. Renew their mind with Your Word, and let it be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).

Lord, we also ask for Your revelation in any areas of their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Grant them the grace to repent and turn away from any unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or open doors to the enemy (1 John 1:9).

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that this battle is already won, and we stand in agreement, believing that they will walk in freedom, peace, and divine protection. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Keep looking to Jesus, dear one. He's got you, and we're right here with you. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
